This is a beautiful and quality windmill! It takes a little patience to put together but definitely worth it for a great addition to your yard. I recommend you put the base together first, then put the "spinning" part together, then take outside and attach. BE SURE to not install on a windy day! It is an actual well functioning windmill and if windy before you have it anchored, the product will get damaged. Be sure to anchor as soon as you put it upright. You will get to enjoy this for years!

I love this so much !! It is very tall which is 9 foot. Very nice. Pretty easy to put together.

For what you're paying, it's a pretty good windmill and it looks great in the yard. It is however an absolute nightmare to put together. Until you get the cross braces on, it's incredibly flimsy. The directions also suck big time. It literally says, build like the picture. All in all, when its all done, it looks great for the price. Hopefully it will last for a while. So far its been up for two weeks, spinning fine and no problems.

UPDATE: About a dozen emails back and forth!!!!!! They finally sent a replacement part where the weld broke but in GREEN when my windmill is gray. Didn't do anything about the bent blade that happened when the weld broke. Cannot remove the screws to replace the broken piece so they offered a refund in three days. Been TEN days and still no refund. Advice: Find another windmill that maybe isn't made in another country. **broken within 6 weeks!!!!The weld at the top that holds the entire blade assembly broke apart making it wobble and hang at an angle. Waste of money.Takes awhile to assemble since instructions are about useless (only vague pictures) and there are about a million nuts and bolts.Very similar to one I purchased from another supplier 15 years ago. Keeping my fingers crossed it lasts as long.

Instructions for assembly are not very clear at all but in about 2 hours my husband and I got it put together. We had to guess where the washers were supposed to go, the picture didn't show them at all. And just for reference, there are up to three bars that go on each screw so don't tighten them until you are sure you have them all. Once it was together and in the yard though, I absolutely love it! You can see in the picture how tall it is; the fence is 6' tall and this picture was taken from a raised porch. I thought it was going to be just bare metal but it is actually metal covered with a gray protective finish; should last a long time. Great buy and fast shipping; arrived sooner than expected!

What a piece of junk. According to the description "Along with 4 ground stakes at the bottom, it can be used well outdoors with STRONG WINDS." (emphasis mine). The first light breeze that came along, the entire head went flying across the yard. Had anyone been outside at the time, they could have been seriously injured. And, yes, it was assembled correctly. It has no real weight to it, and anyone who believes that the 4 ground stakes are going to hold this guy up in a STRONG WIND is fooling themselves as we did. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Total waste of money.

I bought this for my yard, the directions for assembly need alot of improvement, the fan part of my windmill, has a shaft that drops into the top thru a flimsy spot welded sleeve, this weld broke with in the 1st 3 months, of course a little JB Weld type material repaired it, but when it broke the weld, it cused some of the blades to be bent, which again easy repaired, but overall less then great-

As little flimsy but for the price a nice decoration for the garden area.

Instructions are very poor , we ended up using a YouTube video for help . It was very good explaining the details .

Takes about an hour to build, but when it's done, it's Awesome! Love it! looks so cool out on my lawn. The only fault with the whole thing are the bolts and nuts. Typical foreign made as qualtiy isn't there. Some of the nuts weren't the same size needed for the bolts, had to use my own, but other than that, it's sturdy, and well made. John Deere colors are my thing,and the wind really gets that propeller going. Perfect!

When in a normal breeze the unit looks and works great. But put some strong wind into the mixed those little metals pegs they give you are useless. Wind blew it over and bent four blades. The metal is very strong and I didn’t bother trying to straighten.Ordered a second unit and the blades rim arrived just slightly bent so the blades would not turn cleanly.Putting it together required nibble fingers especially for the top of the obelisk.If you secured the legs and had properly balanced blades it would be great.
