Excellent Ear Buds, Even Without the Price!
I bought a set of Dime Black earbuds about a year and a half ago, if not longer, for working landscaping. As I told a coworker, I bought "cheap earplugs that happen to play music." When I got them, I wasn't sure what to expect considering they were all of twenty bucks, which usually means major compromises in the Bluetooth audio world. However, they blew me away when I put them in and played some music. Everything was fairly clear, even if not as good as a fairly expensive pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones (my other, "leisure" pair is a set of Sony MDR-XB950N1 headphones). Now, this review is going to primarily focus on the Dime 2 because that is what I am using now after replacing the initial set of Dimes (after, erm... Misplacing them.) The first thing to know is these are VERY comfortable earbuds. I typically hate wearing earbuds, especially for long periods. They make my ears itchy and start to get uncomfortable for extended periods, but I would wear these for hours at a time (sometimes pushing the extent of the threeish-hour battery life) and they wouldn't bother me anywhere near as much as others. While I still favor my Sony headphones, those were refurbished and cost five times as much as these earbuds. These are genuinely the most comfortable earbuds I have ever worn. To give this a numbered scale, I would put them at overall comfort 8/10, but for earbuds, it would be 10/10. Now, sound quality? I utilize two songs to test any audio - Always In My Head by Coldplay and I Just Wanna Know by NF. The former is great for putting extreme highs and lows at the same time where poorer sound systems will show how cheap they are, and the latter utilizes a lot of mids and bass at the same time that catches where some audio equipment will cheap out on the mids. Both songs were fairly clear. While the bass was okay (in my opinion), it makes up for it with very, very clear mids. They are NOT going to blow you away, but in the realm of this price point? They are phenomenal. 8/10 Tile is a very useful tool that I have made use of. Part of why I ended up buying these instead of something higher-end is that I am very, very prone to misplacing things that are small, and... Wireless earbuds are small. I did not want cables connecting them due to them being very annoying (I tried), and I wanted something cheap enough that if it broke, I lost it, or whatever might happen, I could replace them easily. Tile removed one of these issues - If I lose them, it will both show them on a map and play an audio chime at max volume. I'm going to go ahead and say the chime is useless on these - they are -not- that loud. The map is great for finding a general location if you're a college student or out and about a lot. They can show you where to look and have saved me the price of a new pair on more than one occasion. Battery life is probably the weakest point, in my opinion. But I also admit I am spoiled. The case has enough charge for a few recharge sessions, and the earbuds are approximately capable of three-hour bursts of battery life. While it was rarely an issue, I also had to make sure to recharge them almost every night because during a shift of work, I would use almost the entire charge. The Dime 3's SHOULD fix that based upon the specs on Amazon, but I have no idea how they are. I just know the Dime 1 and Dime 2. 6/10 Build quality is, for the money, great as well. Don't expect metal hinges or anything at this price. However, they feel solid and I have dropped them on more than one occasion and they don't ever seem phased. I did get one set (I may have bought more than one...) where the magnet that holds it closed was not glued properly, and have had one other that kept glitching when trying to connect to my phone (but that also could have been my phone, but if anyone else has experienced this I would love to know!) until I ran it and my phone dead and charged them both back to full. Don't run them through the washer, though. They will not survive that. 8/10 Overall, if you are looking for some inexpensive earbuds that are excellent at blocking sound and great at making (good) sounds, these are the ones to get.

These are perfect for my 14 year old
Ok, so there is no ANC (active noise canceling), the sound quality is just ok and the battery life is borderline (good thing it comes with a charging case). But the fact is they are for a 14-year-old, are Bluetooth (so no dorky wires) and kind of look like black AirPods (if one is standing 20ft away). And the price can't be beat. The absolutely great thing about these earphones is the TILE feature in them. I cannot tell you how many pairs of earphones my little one loses but so far, these haven't been lost. Oh, they have been left places like the outside grass at a middle school but with the TILE app and location feature, I just drove to the school and used the search feature and found them. As a parent, you will not regret getting these for your kid.

Can't Go Wrong With These (One Issue) (DIME 2 & 3)
My Dime 2 Skullcandy earbuds have a solid sound quality, and the earbud shape fits comfortably in my ears. I also like the compact case. My only issue is the volume of the voice prompts. The alerts about connection / disconnection / low battery, etc. is so jarringly loud that it hurts my ears every time. Good pick otherwise. EDIT: I wasn't satisfied with the battery life on my Dime 2 earbuds, so I went ahead and bought the Dime 3 earbuds as well. I like the longer battery life, but I prefer the flatter Dime 2 earbud shape. I can't dicern any sound quality difference between both Dime earbuds. Overall, I'm happy with my purchases and will continue to use both my Dime earbuds. EDIT 2: Had the Dime 2 & 3 earbuds for almost a year now, and I still use my Dime 3's /daily/. I use it /extensively/ and it gets me through most of the day. The case holds about 1-2 full charges and it's fine as long as I don't forget to charge the case. No technical issues (fortunately), and I'm still happy with my purchase. The Dime 2 on the other hand has one issue. Everything works as intended, except the right earbud doesn't hold its charge very well anymore. I can get it to fully charge while charging the case, but the battery drains faster than the left earbud. Overall, the Dime 3 earbuds are my personal go-to. EDIT 3: Well, I guess this is the end. It's Jan. 18th (2026) and the day before yesterday my right earbud for the Dime 3 stopped working (Dime 2's are in the same sitch). The LED lights on whenever the earbud is "charging" but it refuses to turn on when I take it out of the case. Holding down the earbud doesn't turn it on either. The left earbud works fine and I intend to use it until it inevitably breaks down as well. Glad these earbuds at least lasted me a year but I don't plan on re-buying. Overall, not bad for the price but I think it's time to put money into something that'll last longer.

I've been a serious Skullcandy fan since my school days. And their headsets would be amazing but fail within a year or less usually with one earbud not working. After a while I realized I'd spent alot on a brand that wasn't durability & quality conscious. I'm glad that when I decided to come back to skullcandy to see the same issues still prevalent. They have built in obsolescence set so aggressively that pushes me back to JBL Bose or Sony TLDR DO NOT RECOMMEND. chronic problem of skullcandy headphone that one side doesn't work this time due to battery drain

Recebi o produto rápido. Veio bem embalado. O produto está funcionando perfeitamente. Gostei bastante dos fones. Tenho dificuldade de encontrar um fone que se adapte ao meu ouvido sem ficar caindo durante a atividade física, mas esse se adaptou muito bem.
