Then, it goes on to break the book down into sections with vocabulary lists and comprehension questions. It also includes ideas for extra, fun assignmments relating to this topic that not only add to the learning experience, but make it more fun. This literature unit really enhances the book study. There is something in this guide for all learning styles. It's fantastic!

This workbook guide definitely has plenty of ideas for helping a student learn and understand what they are reading. Like that it is easy to follow and has lots of ways to help the student creatively learn concepts and ideas of the novel their reading.

I love this series of literature guides. I find them very useful in and a valuable addition to our home school curriculum. I like that the worksheets and activity ideas are easily adaptable to many grade levels. They also come in such a variety of options that students of all learning types are sure to find an activity or two that will really stick with them and that they will truly enjoy. I like that there are quizzes and a comprehensive test (with answer keys) included in this guide. I would highly recommend this literature guide for The Witch of Blackbird Pond and any other guide from this series.

This is a simple, easy-to-use guide for teaching The Witch of Blackbird Pond. It saves time for the already overburdened teachers in that it has the vocabulary, reading comprehension, and tests already built in. Great for junior high.

This is a good literature unit. It has vocabulary, geography, history and creative writing. It also as crafts and cooking. I thought the price was very good and shipping was fast. I recommend reading through the literature study guide before starting the book because it has Author back ground information and historical insight. It is also helpful to discuss with the student their impression of the book based on the title and art work.
