I looked forever for a fan with adjustable lights that was also dark in color. The cages this one has are, aesthetically speaking, a plus.Pros:-Relatively painless installation.-Clear and precise wiring diagram/instructions..-Striking appearance with the right bulbs.-Acceptable noise levels.Cons:-Adjustable lights have a limited range of maneuverability. You can rotate the entire stem about 45 degrees, and the elbow about another 45 degrees, this means if you manage to locate some Type A spotlight bulbs that you may not be able to focus the light on a specific point.-Not a con per se, but if you have a single switch, you have two options. One is a standard switch which will be unable to dim the lights, the other is a ceiling fan capable dimmer. Dimming typically lowers the fan speed unless you have dual switches.Overall, very happy with the unit, especially at this price.

Well, I was surprised to see the negative feedback on this item which I uncharacteristically did not see until after I ordered. I just wanted this fan because it goes so well with lighting I had already replaced in my dining room and kitchen. So I crossed my fingers. First thing, the box came totally in tact and packaging was great. Second, it doesn't come with bulbs, so not sure why another reviewer said when the fan arrived the bulbs were broken. I had some other Edison bulbs at the house already so purchased exactly the same and voila! I will agree that the cage that holds the bulbs would make changing them challenging, however the bulbs I purchased are supposed to last 10 years, so I'll worry about that then. The fan hangs perfectly - -no wobbling, and my ceiling is slanted. My handy hubby hooked it up with no probs. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there are a few tiny scratches in the metal on the motor housing which cannot be seen while it is hung, but noticeable when putting together. It's not super quality, true, but fans that are super quality can run upwards of $300. I am very pleased and will order another.

The fan works well, but as you can see from the picture, there is a problem with quality control. The manufacture cross-threaded the pipe coming from the motor to the light kit. Most likely, this will not happen to you. Their tech support is good but they might have to call you back if they are busy - and they will. Even with the problem I had, the fan looks nice and works well. I am sure that if I wanted to take it down and replace it, the manufacturer would send me a new fan.Be careful when installing: Don't drop any screws - there are not any extras.

The fan is stylish and beautiful. We love it, HOWEVER! It wabbled bad. Do not use the cardboard pads between the motor and the blade arms. I elected not to use the lock washers as well(not recommend). I found that this were throwing the blades off center. That fixed a lot of the problem. Past that, I had a little peal and stick magnet I used to balance it the rest of the way. Now it’s perfect, no noise, no wabble, and we love it.

This fan is gorgeous. It definitely exceeded our expectations. It was fairly easy to install- our grandson had it up and running in just over thirty minutes. We are very pleased.

This fan was Easy to put up, very quite, looks and works great, there reason for the 3 stars is the bulbs in the picture are not what you get. we got those ugly solid white bulbs, and good lock fining one like the picture that fits. We went to Lowes, Home Depot, Menard's , and Walmart, but no luck all just a 1/2" to big to close the cage.

2nd one I’ve purchased, highly recommend. Original one has been installed for several years with no problems. 2nd one for a different bedroom went up just as easy. You must get the smaller Edison bulbs (standard socket) just smaller bulb size to get cage to close. Lowe’s and Home Depot have them in stock.

I purchased two of these fans for my basement ceiling.They are somewhat simple to set up. The airflow and visual appeal are great. After one month of light use, one of the fans has a whirring noise that can be heard across the house like a distant war drum. Some reviews have mentioned the lights that come with the fan are not as displayed in the pictures. This is accurate. The first fan came with the clear LEDs as pictured, and the second fan came with completely different lights. To be fair, the description says it doesn't include lights. Keep in mind though that the light cages are somewhat small so the E26 bulbs that Amazon recommends will not allow the cage to close.

Rubber bushing doesn't have holes in it to put screws through , fan slots in canopy don't line up with holes in mounting bracket, did not get any hardware or fiber gaskets to mount blades to the brackets, fan motor sounds terrible. Do not buy this pile of garbage, what a waste of time and money..

Very happy with this product. i had to research this before i bought it and i was still a little worried it wouldn't fit. I couldn't use a drop rod installation but this unit is convertible to flush mount. I installed it with ease, Lots of airflow. Very happy with this product.

Great fan but instructions to install down rod suck really bad as seen in the picture the ground wire is run inside the shaft but the screw is on the outside with no way for the two to connect. They’ve also given you installation instructions for all theirs products not just the one you are installing.

It makes no sound at all and the paddles are very long so during the health wave it made the room more comfortable
