Sometimes you need to do so little to make your in-law happy. This particular Plastic Wrap has a Zip Safe Slide Cutter. Sometime before my parents-in-law had a box of the plastic wrap with a slide cutter, but I could not find the similar one in the store anymore. So they stored the old box and used it for several years. Now I become their favorite daughter-in-law (not that they have another one) - by solving their little "problem". On another side, they have something to brag about to their neighbors. What else do you need in life : )? On the serious note: this is good quality plastic wrap. To put box together and make the slide cutter work takes some efforts - so in addition to wrapping it will stimulate your brain as well : ). Good luck!

Although the box itself is not as sturdy or pretty as ChicWrap, the plastic wrap itself is of excellent quality. In fact, I purchase this brand just to get the plastic wrap because it's less expensive than ChicWrap refill rolls with the same quantity of wrap.The SealWrap boxes can be refilled with aluminum foil or parchment paper. The sliding cutter work great on those rolls too, making them easier to dispense and with less waste.If you want the best plastic wrap dispenser, invest in a ChicWrap box. It's rubber feet and heavy weight keeps it solid on your counter as the wrap is dispensed. But when you need a refill, buy this Seal Wrap product, if only to get the plastic wrap.

Rarely have I considered the differences in plastic wraps - I often use what I can find. In recent months, however, I have been so frustrated by my plastic wrap, I had to seek out other brands. This one is a winner. The cut-strip is amazing, smoothly cutting the plastic wrap, and the plastic wrap is high quality and does the job. The one thing that I found to be a bit tricky with this brand is that it takes a bit of extra stretch to seal a can. Everything else, though, seals smoothly and stays sealed with this plastic wrap. Great value for the price.

I'm so glad I found this. I stopped using saran wrap in my kitchen because it never worked. Not only does this stuff actually stick to almost any of the food containers in my kitchen (so far there's been one mixing bowl it won't stick to), but it's also very easy to cut. It's been years since I've been able to use saran wrap for it's intended purpose. I don't think I can ever go back to the saran wrap you can buy in the grocery store. This saran wrap is very easy to use and actually seals the container it's put on. I couldn't ask for anything more.

This is absolutely the best plastic wrap that we have ever used, bar none. It clings and seals better than anything else on the market, therefore it keeps your leftovers or anything else you wrap, fresher for a much longer period of time. It is also the easiest wrap to use because of the unique design of the box. The wrap pulls out straight and neat, with no tangles or mess of any kind. Simply pull out with both hands the amount you need and then cut it off with the best and the safest full length cutter ever made. We love it and anyone who tries will love it also!!!!

Although I'm not all that unhappy with store brands, I decided to buy this product because, in her sensational books on baking, Christina Tosi of Milk Bar fame recommends using commercial-quality plastic wrap to protect food. I bought this AEP brand instead of the one she recommends in her book, and I was disappointed. The cutting mechanism is fussy and while the wrap clings fairly well the first time you apply it, it doesn't re-seal very well. I think I'll save a couple of bucks and stick with my good old Glad Cling wrap for now.

Whoa buddy.I used to think, plastic wrap, is plastic wrap. This is not so. There is good plastic wrap. There is bad plastic wrap. There is even plastic wrap that is made from pure evil, and wishes to take over the world - but this is not the proper venue for that discussion.This plastic wrap, the AEP stuff - great. High quality, nice having a cutter, and the stuff holds true. If you're in the market for plastic wrap, you should buy this stuff...do NOT buy the world domination kind. That stuff sucks.

I have just received my third box of AEP Seal Wrap. I have loved this product! However, this last one had a nik in the plastic wrap and prevented me from getting a whole sheet of wrap and the glider bar was sticky so the wrap would stick and not come away. So Amazon sent me another one at no charge but the second one is doing the same thing. All I can figure is they changed manufacturer and unfortunately it isn't working for me any more :(
