The Paper Bag Princess (Classic Munsch)

Loved the story for my 4.5 yo daughter who loves princesses. Needed this in the world obsessed with beauty. The Prince is representing the society, who cares more about how the princess is dressed than how brave she is and other good things about her. The princess is all of us that need to make these people shut up and stay away from this negativity. I just wish i checked the size before buying, my bad, but it’s too tiny.

This tiny book is perfect for small hands. It is rare to find books with strong female heroes and this is one of them. My daughter loves the story and the illustrations. The writing style is wonderful and helps build vocabulary too beyond just the simple words used by most children's books.

It's not even a pocket size book. Smaller than even a palm size. Not at all worth buying. You can't give such small size book to a kid, it will not interest it and strain the eyes too. Overpriced also given the size of book

Not a book. Waste of money

The story is good. However the size of the book is too small. May be as big as a palm of a grown up adult. Child may find it difficult to enjoy such a small book with small pictures, and it can easily get lost! A good book for an age group of 3 - 6 years, if available in a bigger size, about a princess who is different from the many Disney princesses who helplessly wait for the prince to rescue them. This princess is in fact going to do something different...and something brainy!

The story is a classic one, So I ordered it for my 6 year old daughter. But I was totally disappointed seeing the printed version. It is as good as tiny pamphlet with a few pieces of tiny papers stapled together to call it a book. It cannot be called a children's book, but a cheap pamphlet in its current print version. I wonder why some good printing people make a decent book based on the story and publish it as a children's book . But the one by this sellers is a total waste of money for 130 rs price + 70 rs postage = total 200 wasted. I wish i had read the reviews before ordering it.

Wish I could give this a negative rating, but one is the lowest Amazon has. This is the tiniest book I have ever seen: smaller than the smallest pocket book that I have seen, smaller than the tiniest pamphlet I have seen. It is a travesty to sell something like this online. While the storyline is nice, the writing style is pathetic, boring and matter-of-fact. The illustrations are good but of such a small size that children will not be attracted to it.

Surprised to find that it is a tiny book. 4 inches by 4 inches. Kids find it difficult to hold. But interesting though unorthodox story.

I read this to my students and they loved it.

a marvelous book that shows us how unimportant looks are compared to a good character. And it's good for a good laugh!

Ordered this as my children loved it and wanted to introduce a new generation to it . Book is so small it fit in my palm… very disappointed

No es el típico libro de princesas. Se trata de una historia divertida y original. Es un libro con mucho humor. A mi hija le ha encantado.
