Ice Cream Man

This book is great to read and changes your mindset. Dax does some things that would be considered strange that are actually just kind deeds and I think often in life we might not do nice things like randomly surprise someone or give them compliments out of the blue as it has this perception you are being creepy or obsessively nice but maybe we shouldn’t have this block in our mind and if we feel like doing something kind just do it and not worry what people think as most people will appreciate kind gestures and the ones who don’t.. well maybe they should read this book and shrink their ego.

The short and sweet musings of a twenty-something former YouTube star turned ice cream man. A lot of the book is quite funny, but parts of it tap into the deeper frustrations of being stuck in a rut, wanting to do more with your life, but not necessarily knowing how. It's a quick read - I managed to read it all cover to cover in about an hour - but I think it's well worth the money and I'll probably read it again. Dax manages to say so much in so few words, which I think is a testament to his skills as a creative writer.

As the title states... never have I ever read a short book, or any book for that matter, that is so normal. Not in a derogatory sense, but in an appreciative one. In a world of pretentious and overachieving leeches, Dax's short stories really humbled me as I read on. I love Dax's story and for anyone that has ever worked a rubbish dead end job (essentially everyone), they should definitely read this relatable and charming book.

The book is a collection of nothingness that contains something. It's a collection of thoughts in the form of notes, straight from the authors mind dumped onto the pages. It's clear from the thought pattern conveyed that DAX is a tad mad, very funny and quite relatable.I wouldn't tell my friends to read it but if you have come here on your own volition, then enjoy the book.

The chapters are short and surpringsingly funny. They are an interesting and genuine insight into the mind of an atypical person who is trying to figure out how to adult. Perfect for someone who wants to read more but lacks the attention span for a novel. It's a short book and well priced. If you like his Youtube content, you will love this book.
