Schylling Lamp 2700 Lava, 14.5-inches, Multicolor

Received a damaged product with dents at the base. I decided to keep it as I love this lamp. One important thing to note is it comes with US standard plug that's designed to work at 110V. Plugging it at 220V will cause the bulb to blow out You'd need a step down transformer for it to work here in India. Also, the bulb comes with it is kinda specifically made for this lamp that generates the right amount of heat and illumination. Unfortunately you can't find it here in India. Anyway, After reading another user's review, I decided to replace the holder with a E14 Ceramic type and the bulb with an E14 reflector bulb of 25W. You could use a generic appliance bulb that's used in refrigerators but it wouldn't generate enough heat to start the lava flowing. I had to replace the metal piece that's screwed at the bottom to a shorter one because the bulb would otherwise stand tall and wouldn't allow to place the glass bottle. I used the original cord wire but removed the on-off switch which is rated to work at 110V. So anyway, it was a lot of effort to make it working but in the end it was worth it. Probably slightly short in illumination compared to the original bulb but the lava starts to flow nicely within 30 minutes.

One year later and I’m still absolutely in love with this lamp! The product photos honestly don’t do it justice because the colors are so vibrant and stunning. That being said I finally decided to write a review since I was already on Amazon shopping for a new lightbulb for it anyway as it just went out. But the bulb lasted exactly one year since I first ordered it which is better than expected. And that’s with daily usage of about 10 to sometimes 12 hours a day that I have it on for. It still flows perfectly too that was until the light went out yesterday of course. However, if you do have any issues with having the lava flow correctly note that it could be because your place or the room you have it in could be too cold... I notice this any time I turn my ceiling fan on. When the fan isn’t on the lava flows as it should. But during the summer when I occasionally turn the fan on then the lava will get stuck and not move at all. Then once I finally turn it off and give my lamp about an hour to heat up again then it’s fine. So just something to keep in mind! But definitely worth the purchase! I’ll be buying a new lightbulb now, which shouldn’t be too much. I just hope I can find one as good as the one it came with!

Absolutely beautiful I was skeptical until I got it and its absolutely mind blowing everything is clear and awesome the colors are nice asf and also it can light up for so long and make the room look trippy asf worth every penny

冬場に購入し、電球は日本にあう物に交換しました。 室温15℃くらいで上下するのに5時間くらいかかります部屋の温度にもかなり影響されると思います。 暖かいと早い時間で動き出します どうしても早く動かせたいならコタツの中に入れるとか手はありますが...

温まらないと浮遊しないのが残念。ライトの熱だけだと数時間掛かるから50℃位のお湯で温めてから作動した方がいい。
