Made by Norelco in The Netherlands. Yep, they are pricey, but man are they worth it. These are sharper than the originals. I put these in my several year old series 8000 and it was like a new shaver, but better. I used it on 3 day growth and the blades comfortably did the job like when the shaver was brand new. No weird grinding noises. The build quality is outstanding and I have no doubt the upgraded SH91 heads will last a long time. My shaver says to use the SH90 head blades. I have in the past and they were great OEM replacements. But to see the upgraded SH91 still be compatible with the older shavers that still work is awesome. So good on Philips Norelco for not making you get a new shaver to benefit from an even sharper and more efficient shave. These flush out with water easy like the originals. Tip: every few weeks, take the blade heads apart and use a toothbrush to scrub them clean. Let the pieces air dry and reassemble.
