Pretty Neat Device
I used it with a Husqvarna Rancher 460 chain saw w/24 in bar. The log is hardwood: pecan. I made the planks with this vertical chainsaw mill (you can find how to videos on you tube under "vertical chainsaw mill"I didn't use a ripping chain, might have made for cleaner cuts. My result was the rough cut bar top shown in the last picture. For the price, this is great. If you have to mill a lot of wood - not your best option.Be sure to really tighten the device bracket to the chainsaw bar, the fasteners vibrate loose, then you have to sift through saw dust on the ground to recover them.

Works well
Works well and seems bulletproof.Just a heads up, mine came assembled for shipping, not for use. You might have to assembled it correctly.

Make sure its straight.
The first one I received had been welded slightly crooked. After contacting the seller they were great and sent me out a replacement ASAP and within a week I had my new Mill. It was Perfectly straight and its extra tool pouch is kinda handy with a few files, quick adjustment tool and a few small extras. The handle is plastic and not pre-split wood to stab your hand with. The sellers took care of the issue and it was probably a one off weld job on product so it looks pretty safe just be careful use caution.

You get what you pay for
Horrible quality. Threads were buggered up from the start. I guess nobody at quality control was working that day. Being as there is nothing to hold the end of the bar steady, there is some play and you will not get a smooth cut. I did manage to get the job done. It just wasn't as good as I had hoped.

Spend the extra money on something better unless you have a welder and grinder!
Did not come square! As in cut crooked! Mount was unfinished and didn't sit flat on chainsaw bar! Supplied bolts were not long enough to make it through mount and chainsaw bar as shown!

East to make 2x4's
Bought this on a whim. I had a sizable amount of downed trees and decided to try to make some 2x4's. I was impressed at how easy it was to cut the trees using this chainsaw mill. It's a good idea and easy to use. The price of lumber goes down each time I use it.

Well worth it
Once you get the first cut in your golden. Can ride alittle on the cut so try and take out any play you can anywhere and you shouldn't have a problem. Yeah it takes sometime time to cut them but worth it in my opinion.
