These feel good, like they'll last. I'm converting my collection of some 600 CDs to a more portable format (high-res AAC on a 128GB micro-SD card in a high-end media player), then organizing and packing away the CDs. These red packer bands are perfect for banding together a group of 2-8 standard CD jewel cases. Good hold, low stress. This makes it easy to keep the music of one artist or one genre together when boxed with lots of other CDs. I know some of the boxes will not be opened for years. I'm hoping the bands will still be intact then, not having turned to a "lump of hard or gooey glue" as some natural rubber bands have in the past. Does anyone have experience with better stretchy bands for longterm storage?Now that I've got 'em, I've also found this size to be useful around the house, especially in the kitchen. In fact, their handiness inspired me to buy some that are about twice as long and less firm. Now I've got various standard and some larger-than-standard rubber bands on hand. Very useful!

I bought these to hold shoeboxes together for shipping shoes. They're just the right size and they work great. I also use them to stretch over my garbage cans to keep the bags from falling in. Works great for that purpose too.

Needed to stretch on a 14 inch board to hold papers on a coaching board I did not want a really skinny band that would break after a little use. So I researched this for a long time to get exactly what I needed. First there are a lot of them in the box, so even if we lose or break a few we are all right. Second the thickness of each band is just right. Not to thick yet wide enough so it does not break, or stretch out. For the price this is a great guy, depending on what you need them for.

I purchased these to secure the wing on my Apprentice R/C plane to the fuselage. They do a great job and have enough stretch so as not to damage the foam wing surface, and I might add, a heck of a lot less expensive than the factory made bands. Will purchase these again............

I use shifting litter box liners for my cats needs. I like the brand but their rubber bands to hold down the edges of the layer of plastic are sub-par. They seem to break easily and only last a week or two at most. Their anticipated lifespan should be over a month as they come with enough liners for that!I finally decided to try to find some on Amazon. While these are not exactly the size I needed they have great stretching ability and will fit. The first couple of times it is a bit difficult to get them all the way around the litter box I can manage it. They are a high quality rubber band. It has only been about 2 weeks but they do not show cracking and loss of elasticity at all, unlike those supplied with the liners.I only wish they had come 9 -10 inches to better fit my litter boxes. Great product + Great price = happy customer.

NOT NON LATEX. I bought these because the description said non-latex. I just happened to check the small writing on the back of the box because the front didn’t say non-latex. And sure enough “this product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.” I have a significant latex allergy.

Bought these for a specific purpose - but found them to be useful all over the house and office! I ordered them to use on Christmas wreaths that had a wire frame. I attached the rubber band to the back and used it to hang the wreath in each window attached to the window lock/latch. I didn't need to use a nail or tape ... just the rubber band (I had red ones and green ones) and the wreaths stayed in place!

I bought these to use on the Apprentice S 15e RC plane. These work so much better than the stock rubber bands. The stock rubbber bands feel like they're borderline going to snap they need to be stretched so far. These are perfect.

Bought these to hold wings on a fixed wing radio controlled airplane, and they certainly do the job - awesome elastics. My sister uses them because 'they hold like 10 lbs of architectural drawings together no problem, we go through a box a week pretty much'.I've also used a couple for "rubber motor" powered model planes, whereby the elastic is twisted hundreds of times and the untwisting spins a propellor - they hold up amazingly well compared to the normal brown dollar store elastics - literally night and day.
