A solution for #shortgirlproblems
At 5'4" I'm not the shortest person, but I'm often just short enough that my feet don't completely touch the ground when I sit, which is very uncomfortable. I bought this product hoping it would make a recent flight more comfortable and it absolutely did! I was able to adjust it so that my legs were at a proper right angle and it made all the difference in the world. After my trip, I took it with me to a movie theater hoping to figure out a way to sit comfortably without having to always wear 3 inch heels. I was able to lay this across the top of the seat in front of me (stadium seating) and was comfortable again! I was concerned when someone sat in the seat in front of me, but they didn't even appear to notice.I have already told a short friend and my short mother about this and they both plan to get one for themselves.I almost forgot to mention that it folds up nice and compact and therefore doesn't take up a ton of room in a carry-on bag or purse.

It's OK... but there is a better option available...
I just return from a 60 hour trip to Australia (30 hours each way) and used this product on each of the required three separate airplanes! Interestingly there was a lady sitting next to me with an almost identical product. The variation between the two items was in the webbing attachment to the foot rest area. My Ohderii footrest (this product) only has a single point of attachment on each side. Hers had two points of attachment on each side. The single point, in effect, forces the leg/foot support to be in effect only along a single axis... however with her two point attachment is spread the load over two areas - which, in my view, would be much better. After hunting on Amazon it appears she purchased the "Andyer Foot Rest" which, at the time of writing this review (Feb 2018), is exactly the same price. So, in conclusion, this product is OK but given a second chance I would buy the "Andyer Foot Rest" or similar.

i want to love it and in the right seat
i'm still torn over this thing. i want to love it and in the right seat, it's great! but in a seat with a shoddy tray table, the weight of my feet/legs kept knocking the tray table down so i just had to leave it down the whole flight. in an emergency exit row, i usually put the strap in the pocket and keepit held down with a big water bottle or soemthing and that usually works. i'd say 99% of the times i've used it, it's been great.

Slept for an hour in center seat just because I put my feet up!
I ordered four of these footrests for myself, husband, and kids to use on a cross-country trip. I was uncomfortable on the final leg of our flights so I thought I had nothing to lose by trying the footrest. It was easy to put onto the tray table. At first I put one leg up (a slightly tight squeeze in the center seat but I did it). It worked so well, I decided to put up the other foot. With a jacket and large backpack under the seat in front of me, I didn't think I'd have room to use this but I had plenty of room. Next thing I knew, I was out cold. I didn't even know I was that tired! I never sleep on planes but I slept for a solid hour with my feet in the sling. I'm never traveling without it again.

Doesn't work. Useless for my short legs.
I just got on a plane to Italy and was excited to try this as I have a bad knee. It is a complete waste of money. I'm 5' 3" with shorter legs than your average petite gal. The straps are too short and I cannot extend my legs at all. My carry on bag under the seat in front of me does a better job of supporting my feet than this product. The only good thing I can say is that it's lightweight since I'll be carrying it around the whole trip. I cannot wait to get home and return it. It probably cost about 50 cents to manufacture. Buyer beware!

MUST HAVE
I thought this was potentially hokey, but my husband struggles with his legs going numb on flights so I thought it was worth a try. IT HAS BEEN A LIFE SAVER! He uses it on international flights, and he recently busted it out for a domestic flight just because it made things so comfortable for him! He loops it around the back of the tray table and spends the flight totally happy. My 14yo claimed one for himself now too, so I want to get my own set. Definitely worth it, and well made. Has held up through 2 international round trips and 1 domestic round trip perfectly....expect to get lots of use out if it!

Good idea, but not for me, not for economy.
I had about 20 hours of air travel while being pregnant. I wanted to try to be as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately this didn't do it for me. Seating was too cramped to offer relief. My feet didn't feel comfortable being hammocked into each other either. While trying to get comfortable I felt like I was making the person in front of me miserable since it put my feet right into the seat and probably jostled it around since it's hanging by the tray table hinges.

Worked for Me
I bought two of these for a round trip to Germany for me and my husband. The one I used worked great for me, 5'3", not so much for my 6'4" husband. There just isn't enough leg room for him under the seat ahead of him for it to be useful, but it was perfect for me. With the help of a sleep mask, inflatable neck pillow and a blanket with sleeves, I slept almost the entire time both to and from Germany, being awake only to eat. No airline seat is comfortable for sleeping, but if you are not too tall, this will certainly help.
