Essentially the "New American Chess Set" offered at thechesspiece.com years ago, but w/fewer options
This particular style of chess set is practically identical in form and design to the "New American Chess Set" offered at "The Chess Piece" store in Clearwater, FL years ago. There are fewer options to this newer incarnation of the style. In particular, there are no alternate finials for the kings, as these in the newer set appear to be glued/fixed in place; also, there are no removable, flat, button-capped tops for the rooks as there were in the earlier version of this set. The form and weight of the pieces appear to be virtually identical to those of the earlier version, with the exception that the points of the queens' crowns are no longer as fine (or as sharp) as they were in the past. One final note: this set is only available with felt bottoms; the earlier version from the other (now apparently defunct) store was available with either green felt or black leather(ette) pads on the bottoms of the pieces.

Vraiment top.
Très beau jeux, conforme à la description. Tailles et photos exactes. Je recommande vivement vu le prix. Notez que j'ai vérifié si c'était bien de l'ébene. La réponse est oui après avoir enlevé le feutre et gratté le bois.

Okay but black pieces not painted well and King and Queen have large split in the wood at the base.
See the pictures. I paid like 280.00 for this set. I would have thought the quality control would be a little tighter. I guess I expected too much. It seems like to get serious heirloom quality pieces that don't have cracks and paint problems, you would have to pay about 300-400 more. I'm more about getting better a chess then having nice pieces so, whatever, I'll live with it. I did not try to contract the company. I haven't had any luck in my entire life contacting any company. Companies just don't think that way any more (extreme customer service).
