Out (Vintage Crime/Black Lizard Anniversary Edition)

I enjoyed the book and its many twists and turns. I could feel how terrible it was to work the night shift at a factory. I plan to read another of the author's books.

A fascinating but bizarre take on women's powerlessness and need for revenge. Surprising plot twists, some that made me laugh. Lots of gore so not for the squeamish.

I an so excited to read this book. This was suggested to me by a friend and I an so excited to get into it. My package came fast, and the book is in perfect condition.

The characters were nicely introduced, in a manner that allows for emotional understanding. Yet, the gore was not gorey, the emotions relating to the gore were flat, and the ultimate character resolutions was boring.

Loved this book. It was my first one by her and am always looking for more. The suspense kept me reading and the end still held some mystery for the reader. Always will recommend!

I decided to read this after hearing lots of great reviews on tiktok. Ugh. It's the last time I listen to tiktok about my reading choices. Some said it was gory... it wasn't. I don't want to give too much away on case you decide to read it. Just know... it was anticlimactic.
