yes and it is very sticky so make sure your surface is properly prepared before you apply. We drew lines where we wanted it so we got it on straight.

Does this have an adhesive backing?

Yes it has an adhesive backing. I put this down on my mother's ramp and it worked well just make sure it is warm and you rough up the area with sand paper first.

Has anyone tried it on a metal roof?

doing it now on classic ribbed galvalume there are some spots it is not ok to walk on the roof I am using this stuff to mark all the places that are safe and when it rains or even dews just a little, it is slippery af. same with dust from cutting masonry. death slide this stuff sticks really well almost a year on one spot no signs of wear my skateboard shoes feel like velcro on it when I go up there now
