Not a full year of use-then dies.
If you are lucky maybe a year of use. But while itās working it works great!! This is my fourth set of pumps in a five year spread.

Wont Last as long as you hope
Mine runs 2 aerators for my pond. about 5 feet deep. It DOES run 24/7/365 so I didn't expect it to go a long time but for the high price I was hoping. It lasted 18 moths before the fan motor seized.

Great pump!
Works as expected, have a acre pond in back. Have 2 water aerators in pond. Pump is in shed, 200ā from pond 300ā from first aerator in pond. This pushes a lot of air. A must have for muddy pond, plus allows more fish to be put in pond. Bonus is they sell a rebuild kit for this product. I have 2 of these, rebuild one and have one in service. These can last. For years before seal goes out. Must be kept dry and clean though.

Nice pump!
Nice pump! 1/2HP. Based on other user comments I installed a Dayton 1TDP1 blower in the cabinet. The compressor is noisy if you just plug it in but when it is connected to the tubing it is quiet. Iām running 3 diffusers

Good Value
I have had this pump (purchased from another vendor) for approximately 17 months. It runs about 12 hours a day, everyday. and thus far only issue was a compensator on the side. Seems to do the job, I'm pumping air to a 1/2 acre pond about 900 feet away from my pump and it does what it is suppose to. Pump does run very warm, but doesnt seem to hurt it and long and you have ventilation and a good fan.

Great pump
I run this thing 24/7. It's reliable. I installed it in a steel box I fabricated to the same specs as the one they sell but left out the fan. Thought the vents would be enough. Wrong. I had to rebuild twice in the first year and a half before it finally burnt up. I sent it to them and they happily fixed it for me because it was still within 2 yr warranty period. Installed a high speed fan on the box center of compressor and it's been pumping air strong for a year now with no rebuild so definetly makes a difference. Enjoy your waters!
