This is an amazing book for anyone, thinking, making, administering or teaching art. It puts a lot in perspective with historical, global details. Very up to date with current events and politics. Also talks the consequences of economizing art. It's a dense read but worth it. I look forward to rereading it. This book makes you want to fill in all the facts about history and art that you do not know.I have recommended this book to many people I know and respect in the arts. Brilliant!!
