This was a gift for a family member; shipped in time and was exactly as described. Reason it’s only four stars is because of price; so high for these tiny jars, understandably it’s the brand name and quality of paint.

Purchased these for model cars and the colors re so vibrant and they go on really smooth. They’re exactly what I hoped for a priced affordable so as to not break the bank!

As a child growing up I built my share of models. I used Testers then and just makes sense to use them now. I’m retired so I have plenty of time in the winter months to paint and assemble car models. Testers is a great product.

We got this set as my son was wanting to build some models with me after I mentioned thats all I did growing up. Testors has been around a long time..so I knew right what to shop for. I used these same paints as a kid. You will need to buy some other things if you are wanting to get detailed with your models. But this is a very good start. It was a lot cheaper on amazon than my local stores. They came in with no issues.You will get a knife, a paint tray, some glue tips with cement plus window cement, 11 paints, 3 brushes, various sanding paper, thinner...I think thats about it I would recommend just buying a can of thinner as this little bottle will gunk up pretty fast. You will also need to pick up some spray paints of your choice for the shell of the model unless you plan on leaving it the plastic factory color. All in all this is good place to start and cheaper than buying all of this individually.

Overall the product is a good model starter kit. However, the clear parts cement & window maker glue came solid as a rock. As far as I know there is no way to use this. Never opened it. Can I get this replaced?
