I expected more, a bigger and better book, but I can't deny that the info in this book is really useful. Is well edited, easy to read and with valuable photos and overall info. Not bad at all.

The book contains very useful information on buying, cutting and even drying wood with a good article with drawings, about building your own kiln. Highly recommended if you want to find wood for your woodworking shop.

Consider this copy when you need to know about wood varieties, and how to make the most of your wood buying dollars. Easy to read format with many good photos on wood varieties.

Collection of articles... well written, easy to read and informative... good starter book for a novice woodworker like myself. Recommend highly for anyone just starting out in woodworking

My Husband loves this book!! He cant wait to try the ways to make his own wood. Hopefully it will all work out
