Great size others were to small. MY Adult Cat gets 1/2 cup a day..plus treats... the bowl is large enough to hold his daily food. It's a very nice bowl and lift it up so he doesn't have to drop his neck so much. 5 stars

I bought several variations and brands of cat food bowls, hoping to hit these criteria: (1) ceramic or stainless steel, (2) elevated, (3) tilted, (4) heavyweight so it doesn't move around, (5) curved in the base so the little bits don't all get pushed to the rims and get stuck, (6) aesthetically neutral. This hits all the boxes. This one is on the left and the right is the YWHY pet food bowl; as you can see it's a lot bigger and wider (and heavier!). I have a tiny kitten (3 months) and her wet food serving size is usually around 1~1.5 oz. You'd think this one is too big for such a small kitten and small amount of food but it has the perfect tilt and wide base to make it most comfortable for her. I would recommend this one to the YWHO version (often suggested in the product page together). Nothing wrong with the smaller version but this one just seems much sturdier and well made with all the thoughtful details like curved rims and angles/tilts etc. Easy to clean, as any ceramic bowl.

Fantastic bowl! My three cats have Necoichi raised food & water bowls but I was in need of tilted ones..Not only are these perfect in size but the quality is unsurpassed. Now one of my cats doesn’t take his dry food out to the floor or push moist food out of the bowl. Very large bowl for flat faced cats or ones with whisker fatigue. Great height and cutest designs. It also came with an adorable mat that I thought was packing material until I looked closer. I will be giving my sets of overly expensive Necoichi to my local shelter. Don’t get me wrong, they are fabulous too but this bowl is the cat’s meow and much better for your cat’s health.

When I received this bowl, I was surprised at how wide it is. That is probably my fault, because I didn't really look at the dimensions in the description. That being said, the bowl works well for the cat. She has had triaditis for the past several years, which causes her to have GI issues, She pukes and the next thing I know, she's having a flare up of pancreatitis or gastritis, and she's miserable and I'm broke because I have to take her to the emergency vet. I started using a raised dish for her last year, and she's definitely improved. Not sure if the height of the dish was a factor in that, but better safe than sorry. That other dish is a small raised ceramic saucer that looked VERY similar to the picture for this one. The difference seemed to be the tilt. The other dish isn't slanted at all. Anyway....... The size of this dish seems excessive to me. I still use it, and the cat is fine with it, but she is also fine with the smaller one that isn't slanted. Regardless, I will keep using the raised dishes for the cat, and hope that her puking and triaditis issues are kept to a minimum.

Our cat’s appetite as improved since switching to this dish. He loves it.
