Very pleased with this purchase, easy to set up and install. The picture quality is great on both cars,and the night vision is crystal clear too. Very good especially for the price. Compact design and fits behind the rear view mirror so causes no distractions.

I really wanted to like this AZDOME 4K Dash Cam. On paper, it checks all the boxes: clear 4K footage, front and rear coverage, built-in GPS, WiFi app control, and even a 64GB SD card included. The video quality and features were genuinely impressive when it worked. Unfortunately, this is now the second unit I’ve had to return. Both times, the camera functioned well for the first couple of months and then abruptly stopped working. The first one froze constantly and wouldn’t save recordings; the replacement began rebooting on its own and eventually refused to power on at all. I used high-quality SD cards and followed all recommended setup steps, so it’s not a user-error situation. It’s a shame because the design and features are great, and when it was operational, the night vision and wide-angle coverage were excellent. But a dash cam is only useful if it’s reliable—and in my experience, this model just hasn’t held up. Pros: Excellent video quality when working Strong feature set (GPS, WiFi, ADAS, parking mode) Easy to install and operate Cons: Poor durability—two units failed within months Random freezing and rebooting Ultimately not reliable enough for a safety device I can’t recommend this product based on the repeated failures. I hope AZDOME improves the build quality in future models.

See Update at the end: Ok. I was hoping that the the previous reviewers were unlucky in that they had a faulty camera or perhaps not got something quite right. The common issue is that the rear camera that does not work!!! Pretty much a biggie. The pro's are as follows: The front camera was fine. In fact it recorded a bird flying across with no noticable stuttering in the video. The app connected to 5G and creates a VPN between (I am assuming) the phone and the camera which in itself is interesting in that its secure. Not seen any other Dashcams do that. The build quality is very good. Packaging is very good. Comes with a 64GB micro sd card. (most do not). The con's - only 1 so far. The rear camera fails to work. Tried rebooting, reformatting the memory card, jiggled the connector. Nothing. The telltale sign is that the button on the Azdome app that is used to switch between Front and Rear is Greyed out. Returning. Update: ordered another one after communications with the seller. This one worked. Wired into Suzuki Swift with ease. Not immediately obvious is the bulky bit on the cable near the rear camera is actually an inline plug and socket, allowing this to be disconnected from the main extension cable. Good if you need to feed through rubber wiring conduit. Overall satisfied with the camera but early days. Update Sept 24: installed in Volvo XC60 with reasonable ease. Rear camera wiring a little tricky getting wire through the conduit connecting the hatch but done eventually. Everything fine. Update Dec2025. Both car dash cams are still working well.

Wanted a low budget dashcam kit as I'm a delivery driver and this helps with my insurance premiums. Both front and back cams are superb quality, absolute doddle to install. I didn't go for the hardwired option so it's just attach the cams, and run the cabling through the headliner and interior trim. Will take you 30 minutes at most. The app is easy to use, you can connect to the cams and get an immediate download of footage to your phone, or pop out the SD card and transfer the video to your laptop. Picture quality is excellent if you drive past a fit bird, and want to save it for the bank. Records audio so be careful what you say if you're planning to use the video :) NIght vision is good, but you won't get as clear a view of number plates as you do during the day. Still good enough to see the idiot tailgating you, or pulling out in front of you at a junction though ;) As the roads are rapidly turning into the wild west, at this price point I would recommend everyone install one of these.

This was initially a great product that worked really well. The set up was easy, the instructions clear. So good infact I bought a 2nd for my wife's car. However, firstly, my own cam developed a fault. I could no longer connect to it. I tried all the suggestions from support to no avail. The best I had was a cam that would reboot at frequent intervals. That was when it was still occasionally recording. Then... Nothing, just stopped all together. No recording, no power, nothing. Contacted support but they wanted a video of the fault? I could send them a video of a non functioning camera but I failed to see the benefit or point of this, however I did go to the trouble to send a video regardless. Then, the 2nd camera purchase for my wife's car developed the same fault. I have got in touch with support one last time to see if they can rectify this issue, but to be honest. I was involved in a minor hit and run which was not recorded because the cam had failed at that point. So I'm now out of pocket by £325 to have my rear bumper repaired. So I don't really have any faith in the product at all now.

I have another Adzome camera in another vehicle so knew I was going to be happy. If you want to playback on widows directly from the card you'll need the 79p codec. I found it simple to fit with both cameras giving a good picture that will provide evidence if needed. Fitted to a soft top car so needed the waterproof camera for the back. Edit: my other adzome camera and this one can both be added to same app which is nice.

The camera comes with all the parts to mount and connect the front and back camera inside a car. The installation is fairly easy, the wireless network used is good and you get decently playback, the video is near real-time but isn’t too noticeable. The footage is ok including night footage. I prefer a dashcam that has a screen so you don’t need your mobile to connect to view footage. The dashcam only responds to commands (take photo) when you have the app opened on your phone (which uses a good amount of the mobiles battery), on a long journey you’d want to stick the mobile on charge. The 9V cigarette plug that powers the dashcam also has a usb port so plugging the mobile on charge just requires a usb cable. Overall, I think this is a reasonably good purchase. I would’ve given it a 4 star but the lack of onboard display dropped one.
