After some researches, the main reason that made me picked this fishing plier is Aluminum. I love sea fishing, and most of the occasions I use fishing pliers are in the saltwater situation. I did have owned several fishing pliers before purchases this one. most of them are stainless steel and rusted after about 6 months of uses. The seawater is terrible for any kind of steel. you will know if you do see fishing lots. but the aluminum is not rustable, the lesson we learned from biology classes. Otherwise, aluminum has a much lighter weight than stainless steel.The one thing that surprised me is the maintenance oil, which is great for the blades after back from sea fishing. Other tools are also a plus for no extra charge.

The pliers work really well. They cut braid and monofilament very easy. The only issue that I have with them is that the material is very slippery and it's easy to lose grip, but it's not a big deal because they will be tethered to you. Overall it's a great set of pliers for fishing.The other items in the set went almost immediately into the trash.
