Poetic Guardian Case [6FT Mil-Grade Drop Tested] Designed for with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G 6.8" (2022), Built-in Screen Protector Work with Fingerprint ID, Full Body Shockproof Case, Orange/Clear

I bought TWO different cases, a tempered glass screen protector kit, and even a "Milomdoi" branded set of full "P-shaped" protectors for the camera lenses on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. (Who cares about the, "ultra clear glass" on the S22 Ultra camera lens!) It all arrived LONG before my 1TB S22 Ultra (which I'd bought directly on its launch day). So I was utilizing it in the Black $70 UAG "Kevlar" one before I even had the time to devote putting on the glass screen protector (a procedure requiring liquid glue and an included UV curing light). I dropped it outside in the "much vaulted UAG one" as it slipped out of my shirt pocket from a height of only around 2.5 to 3 feet onto plain old California soil. The S22 screen SHATTERED in a plethora of "Gorilla Glass Invictus Plus" lines, across MORE THAN the ENTIRE bottom half of the screen! Less than 2 weeks in, and already the screen was a complete goner. It still worked and the shattered glass still adhered radiating out in 20 to 30 cracks from the single "impact point" about 3mm above right of the Home button. (NOT on a "thought to be" weaker edge of its curved glass.) So I knew it had to go in for repair. And I didn't worry for it much thereafter. So about 4 days later same story!! Except this time the mighty, "Samsung Gorilla Glass Invictus Plus" glass cracked out COMPLETELY in another ENTIRE SET of now cross-hatched cracks across the bottom 3rd of its glass. I'm sorry, for all the "fanboys" out there, BUT the S22 HAS BRITTLE and VERY EASILY CRACKED "INVICTUS +" GLASS!! This cost me an additional $338 to the already spent ≈$1,700 of the original phone. Plus like $45 gasoline, and all my time, to have it repaired at a Samsung Authorized, "U Break I Fix" location about 70 miles away round-trip. After all, you've got to protect the Samsung OEM Warranty! SO NOW the phone is with all of additional tempered glass screen, and lens, protectors and residing in THIS "Poetic" case. Because it's BETTER protected I FEEL than in the $70 "plastic UAG Kevlar" (just an "imbedded piece of Kevlar cloth" in actuality) case. This phone "et. al." are REALLY only VANITY PRODUCTS after all, as a $150 phone will do about 93% of what an S22 Ultra will do for you! But these "vanity phones" ARE really EXPENSIVE and ALL-GLASS (manufacturing GENIUS, in "2022 materials sciences") both FRONT and BACK. So one needs a really good set of case and screen / lens protectors on them! Because, of the $338 total repair, only $123 was for "Labor" with the rest going directly to the manufacturer for "Parts" which they make for wholesale, and at very probably a COST of WAY BELOW $20. These phones are a boon for THE manufacturer who sells them no less than world-wide. I'm using this Poetic with its 2nd (included) front frame and a "separate aftermarket glued on tempered glass screen protector" now. I looked into droves of cases online prior to choosing the TWO I have. I'm using this LESS EXPENSIVE of the TWO. Because I now feel it provides better protection. Though the other "looks" and "sounds" what with Kevlar and all, a tad more "flashy". I would say the weakest point of this "Poetic case" is probably it's BACK plastic window over the $70 UAG Kevlar one. But the "Poetic" provides better SCREEN protection RAISED EDGES, and on all sides, and on the all-important corners too. I've owned a bonanza of FAR less costly phones (several high-cost ones too, for each my wife and me). ALL of them dropped more times than I can count! NONE of them have EVER broken. The S22's screen broke on EACH of the FIRST TWO drops. And at a lower height each time than a "run of the mill" drop also. It's an "all GLASS" phone. And you require a really good case. And after all, it's Samsung's money, otherwise! Really, it's SAMSUNG'S MONEY period! " I KNOW!! LET'S MAKE an EASILY DROPPED, very HEAVY, but still slick, PHONE out of ALL REAL GLASS on its OUTSIDE!! IT'D be EPIC! And there's PRACTICALLY no way WE could EVER lose! Let's run with it, and WORLDWIDE too! ". " PLANNED (there's no way IT CAN'T be) OBSOLESCENCE. And IF we don't get-em on REPAIRS, we can INSTEAD charge MONTHLY, for ongoing INSURANCE programs on it and call it 'SAMSUNG CARE'! Pure marketing genius in action. And ALL-GLASS OUTSIDE CONSTRUCTION! By George, I think WE HAVE a MONEY-MAKER! AND, THEY'LL BUY IT! But the less fortunate won't even have to. A luxury-tier item, only FOR the VAIN but well-healed-enough MASSES! ". Anyway, so much for parody. But at this point I'm BETTING on this Poetic case. Good protection, yet lightweight, and still "just sleek enough" to fit in a shirt pocket. (Your mileage may vary! You could always buy Samsung's Insurance too!) Then there's that "influencer" kid throwing a S22 all-around everywhere on YouTube and from utterly ridiculous heights! Even over "roof-tops" with it landing on asphalt on the other side! And all in a "UAG Kevlar" case. But not a single 3mm pebble anywhere ....

I have bought several of these over the last few years and I will recommend it for sure. Its a tough case and I can honestly say I drop my phone daily. I only replace once the screen saver is marked up and scratched up. Great value for my money and very easy to put on and take off. I wish there was more color choices but im just happy to have a great case for my phone. Its easy to use the buttons and the touch screen works with no issues, in the case.

This was my first time purchasing a Poetic case. My usual go-to brand doesn't offer a built in screen protector for the S22 Ultra so I went looking for a new option and found this case. I ordered a Guardian for me and a Revolution for my husband's S22 Ultra because he needs the added protection due to his job. Some reviews have mentioned fit issues but we did not experience this with either Poetic case style that I purchased. I assume that the early issues may have been from the pre-order timeframe when the series 22 devices were not widely available to accessory manufacturers. In any event, whatever adjustments they've made since those initial complaints seem to have worked. Both cases fit perfectly and the placement of the buttons and cutouts are precise. This case is a great blend of solid protection without being overly bulky. My S22 Ultra is burgundy and I love that the Guardian is clear and doesn't cover up the color of my phone. There is a dust cover for the charging port, which is nice, and both cases work with wireless charging as well. The only thing I would change about this case (completely a personal preference issue) is the sticky circle on the screen protector for the fingerprint reader. I don't use biometrics features on my phone so I would prefer not to have that visible spot on the screen protector all the time, but I do understand the appeal for other users and for me a built in screen protector was a must so I'll deal with it. The fingerprint sticker is dust magnet, which isn't a big deal if you put your phone straight into the case from the box, but if you ever need to remove the phone from its case, you risk dust and dirt particles sticking to it. What I've found works is to use a piece of scotch tape to remove any unwanted dust from that spot on the inside of the screen protector. Other than that minor annoyance, this case is fantastic and I would definitely buy it again over any of the competitor cases that I've seen for this phone.

Ich hatte schon viele Handyhüllen, aber die ist echt mega und der Fingerabdrucksensor funktioniert perfekt . Man muss ihn mit der Hülle erstellen, so wie in der Anleitung die bei liegt ....

The fingerprint scanner was a but diffult to attach at first because I reveive my case with the protective sticker fallen off. I just took the case apart again, gave the sticky part a good wipe with my hand (couldn't use fabric material because the lint would stick to it and make the scanner unreadable) and then it stuck and worked great! I've used poetic for my galaxy s10 phone as well and the protection is just amazing! My phone fell hundreds of times and my phone was nice and cozy and safe in its case. I'm very confident that this case would be just as good. It's great that they have the screen protector option as well as just the case with the raised edges.
