Updated (5/16/2022): The original review I posted is being corrected. The headphones work as described and provide a good connection between my Beats headphones and the input source. I purchased this replacement cable for my Beats headphones. They worked fine for several months but began to produce intermittent sound in my headphones after about six or seven months. I thought the problem might have been the headphones themselves, but after plugging in a different extension cable, the problem went away. This confirmed the short-circuiting was the cable itself–specifically, one of the male inputs does not maintain a positive connection.

I got this becasue my dog chewed up the original cable. This cable hasnt defected or given me any issues even after years of use. Now its used as a direct line to my Marshall to play backing tracks. I do use the 1/4" jack and it works ver ywell.

I love that I could replace my original cord. It was so worn, and cracking, exposing wire. The only downfall is that it doesn’t lock in. So that kinda hinders it’s ability to be “studio style”

My son has same headphones as i do and this same cable. His works great and has all parts. Mine is missing the piece that is hanging from the rubber attachment which is a thicker plug in. Mine is missing that part and both ends do not want to stay plugged in tight so i have to push them in way to many times. I sent in this info but have not received a answer from company to let me know if they will send a free one. Nothing from them. I think mine is a damaged returned one. Would not recommend.

This cable is NOT for Beats Solo headphones, as announced. Due to Solo's particular shape and the form of the cable's mini jack connector, they simply can't properly make click, so you can't make them sound. This cable and Beats Solo headphones, don't match, The cable is a good quality one, probably will work fine with other headphones.

This product is totally amazing. It works fantastically and is very durable. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

After beating up my studio pro headphones for the past 9 years or so, the original cable finally couldn't be held together by duck tape. I've tried somewhere around 10 different replacement cables (can't buy original cables anywhere without buying a whole new pair of headphones) and NONE would work. This is the first one to actually work on the headphones. Only drawback is the material it's made from is not the same as the original cable - doesn't bend like the original and feels munch cheaper, but it works.
