I upgraded my SE to the newest iteration. My old case fit the new phone, but was scratched up and had turned yellow, so I upgraded that too. I bought 5 different cases to try out, and this one was by far my favorite, and the most protective.Pros:1. The case fits snugly, and the phone feels secure and well protected. It is not difficult to get the phone in and out of the case, but it isn't coming out without your help. Feels just as good to me as the sturdy and popular, pricier "O" brand.2. The side panels are textured so they are grippy.3. The shell feels rubberized, or a little like faux leather. It feels good and soft, but isn't slick or slippery. Also, the shell doesn't show fingerprints, and cleans easily.4. The front has a raised edge that seems a little higher than most. I have a good quality tempered glass screen protector, and despite the height it adds, the protective rim is taller.Cons:A. The iPhone SE is thin with curved edges. This case adds a little depth, and has boxy sides. This does change the character of the phone. I'm not deducting any points because a. I should have known from the pics, and it's more a style choice than a flaw, and b. the phone still feels great in the hand. It's grippy, and since it's a little deeper, it's not as wide as others, so my fingers curl around it nicely.I've had the case for a month. While I see no signs of wear so far, I can't attest to the long-term permanence of the design on the shell. This is more an unknown than a con. All things considered, and based on what I've seen so far, seems worth the risk.I'd definitely buy it again, and recommend it to others. I'm even considering buying a second one with a different design to change things up when I'm bored. If I had gotten this one first, I wouldn't have bought, or needed to return, the four others.

This the second PureGear Dual Tek case that I have purchased for an Apple iphone SE. Very protective, especially the corners with rubber bumpers. In the first one, I couldn't count the number of times that the phone dropped out of my shirt pocket onto a concrete garage floor with no damage. So I got another one for my new SE. The case fits the SE very tightly. If you think you'll need to take it out of the case for some reason very often, it'll be a struggle.

Fits well, absorbs impacts, feels good in the hand. Only wishes that it came in yellow.
