This textbook is extremely beneficial, specifically as a study tool for my Grade 1 and 2 exams. It aligns perfectly with current ABC Need-to-Know criteria, and its structure tailors the training according to experience and certification level, making it adaptable for all learners.One of the book's most impressive features is its comprehensive nature. It spans 22 chapters, each addressing core test content expected on the certification exams. The chapters cater to a variety of topics, including operator math and chemistry, specific distribution processes, water use, system design, water mains, hydrants, valves, and more. Its coverage of both regulations and public relations has given me a more holistic understanding of my field.The in-chapter questions were particularly helpful, acting as miniature practice tests. The vocabulary sections at the end of each chapter were informative and served as excellent preparation for the exams. Moreover, it's worth mentioning that the book also contains answers to all the sample questions, which were beneficial in self-assessment and revising problematic areas.That said, the book isn't flawless. While it claims to provide all you need to pass the exams, it fell slightly short of that promise. A few crucial pieces of information were missing, and many have found that it didn't cover every single topic included in the exam. However, considering the vast range of topics it does cover, it should still be considered an invaluable resource for exam preparation.Another area of improvement would be the book's connection with test access. Despite the abundant information it provides, it does not give access to the tests, which was disappointing. I believe this is a missed opportunity that could significantly enhance its value and usability.However, to fill in the gap and for additional practice, I discovered Water Prep Co. They offer comprehensive and interactive practice tests which I found to be an exceptional supplement to this book.The tests at Water Prep Co were closely aligned with the actual exam format and contributed significantly to the success of many in the certification exams. So, while the book provides a solid foundation of knowledge, Water Prep Co acts as a perfect practice platform, and together, they make a robust study toolkit.In summary, despite some minor shortcomings, the WSO Water Distribution, Grades 1 & 2 book is indeed a valuable investment. Great, informative book on all there is to distribution. It provides great questions at the end of each chapter and has most all vocab you could need!

Just the book alone was everything I needed to pass my local Water Operator Class II license.

Did not receive the book that is described. You Weill get just the class 1 manual not the 1&2.

We had bought 2 or 3 other manuals to help our guys study for their test and were disappointed. They said that this book has the information in it that they need to study for the test. They are pleased with it.
