It works OK. It does what it is supposed to do.

This is my all time favorite deodorant, it’s very pleasant and not overpowering, and I personally find that when it combines with my natural scent the smell gets even better. Apply liberally (8-10 swipes per pit) and you should be good for a full 12+ hours, very effective. Plus natural ingredients, no aluminum, and no skin irritation, arm and hammer really cooked with this one

Edit: After 2+years, I have down graded my review from 5 to 4 stars. Over the past 6 or so months, I have found the deodorant is less effective at odor control. Thw scent and deodorizing seems to fade after a few hours. If I apply the deodorant before bed, I'm a little smelly by the morning. If I apply again before work, I'm usually a bit smelly about 6 hours into the day. And the issue is same whether I apply quick swipes or really purposefully cover my armpit skin with the product. Not sure if the product changed, my body changed, or I'm just sweating more lately. But it's gotten to the point that I'm now looking for a new deodorant. In regards to irritation, my armpits have gotten a bit of a light red line. This could be from baking soda in the deodorant. I haven't gotten itchy ever, thankfully. So, I'm leaving the review at 4 stars because it never irritated my armpits to a noticeable degree, which I appreciate. And it may still work well for some (it did work well for me for a couple years), or it may require reapplying throughout the day to continually work well. Original review: Like others here, I have very sensitive skin. Most deodorants turn my armpits a dark color in addition to irritating the skin. Often making my pits extremely itchy and red after a few weeks of use. This would happen with many natural deodorants too, since the concentrated essential oils were often too strong. I was previously using Lume antibacterial deodorant, which didn't darken or irritate my skin. It also worked decently well at keeping away BO. But the deodorant itself also had a bit of a strange odor underlying it. And I was getting paranoid about contributing to antibacterial resistance. So I decided to switch back to a more traditional stick deodorant. This arm and hammer deodorant smells good, and lasts like a regular deodorant, as far as I can tell. I would say it will reliably covers any sweat and BO in the applied areas for up to 24 hours. It lasted through me working on my truck for about 4 hours in 80-90 degree weather, and I was sweating pretty heavily at times. Also lasts through my work day and then some, I'm usually logging a minimum of 10,000-15,000 steps between uses. It does turn my armpits a bit dark, but so far no irritation after a couple months use. Pros: -Works for me! 24 hours of moderate/lightly active movement. -No irritation. -Smells good. -Goes on clear, turns white, then goes clear again. Cons: -Darkens armpit skin. -Doesn't really smell like coconut per se, just flowery with a hint of vague *tropical* scent. -It does turn white for a bit while adjusting to body temp, may affect your clothes. If it doesn't seem to be working for you, try applying a bit more than usual and see how it goes. Hope this helps!

I bought this because I want to stop using deodorant with aluminum because of the yellow stains and switch to Free of aluminum, parabens, phthalates, and animal-derived ingredients. Not to mention the unbeatable price point for 3!!! And it ranks #4!!! Yes please.
