154 Crochet Wave Patterns (Leisure Arts #4312)

As a 20-something guy crocheter, I've found that a lot of pattern books are geared toward women, especially woman of an older generation. I've searched through books for something without flowers or baubles to no avail. But this book is great! The patters are wonderfully varied, and many of them are appropriate for any person or decor. I am a huge fan of the ripple and wave afghans, but this book has exceeded my expectations. In these 154 patterns, you're almost guaranteed to find the perfect pattern for a gift, charity project, or your own home-- and most likely have to choose from many!

Excited about trying some of the patterns in this book. In this book they also tell how to figure out how many repeats and stitches you will need when planning the size and type of yarn for your afghan. I wish it would give you an idea of how much yarn you will need though. But I have found quite a few patterns that I want to try.

This is a great selection - so many great patterns. No, I don't like every single one (thank goodness, or I'd be crocheting gorgeous afghans well into the next century) but there are MORE than enough to keep me happily crocheting gorgeous blankets for quite a while.Excellent directions and explanatory sketches.I recommend in other pattern books to use samples crocheted in darker yarns sparingly, as the photos come out muddy and less clear than those with yarns in lighter colors.This will become a frequently used favorite.

Received the book quickly after ordering. The pictures and instructions are very good for me. But on the third try of looking through the book, the pages want to come apart at the bottom. This book will get much use but it's not going to hold together long. Seems the binding wasn't glued enough. Just going to use looks of clamps. I recommend the book for any one that's into chevron and waves. I will have lots of fun creating new projects.

If you love to crochet ripples and waves you have to have this book! 154 full colour photos of amazing colourful waves and ripples, every stitch pattern has easy to follow instructions. This is a must have book for any fan of crochet wanting to expand on their wave and ripple stitch pattern collection.

It took a little while to receive this book, but once I got it, I love it. All ready making an afghan with one of the patterns. They are very easy to read and not long instructions. If you like ripples, then you would love this book.

I really like the book and am very happy with the purchase. I enjoy having crochet books on hand. I have spent hours looking at this and deciding what pattern to make for some precious twins due this month. It was a hard choice as there are so many to choose from. If you get happy when you crochet, you will like it.

Every crochet pattern imaginable and the patterns are easy to follow. Nice to see how to create all the stitches illustrated in the book as well. Going to have many happy hours crocheting these afghans as gifts from family and friends!
