I’ve been using this mat for a few weeks now. I read a LOT of Amazon reviews before choosing this mat and ultimately wish I would have kept looking. Pro: This mat will stay down on the floor, it will not move around. If you don’t get sweaty, it has good grip on the top of the mat. It comes with two carrying options, a bag or a shoelace type carrier. Very soft and comfortable. Cons: Becomes slippery when wet, so I still had to purchase a yoga towel for hot vinyasa classes. Cannot leave in a hot car because it will melt and I think that is inconvenient. If the shoelace carrier is too tight it will leave marks in the mat, I’m hoping they aren’t permanent. Also seems to be getting marks from either sweat or frequent hand/foot position areas, not sure which is causing the color to fade. The mat was cut crooked, I know that is picky, but I find it distracting when I’m looking down at it.

Very pleased with quality, color and comfort or thickness. Some mentioned and odor but there is not a strong smell to me.

This mat is a great basic for yoga at a reasonable price. I really loved my previous mat from Thinksport, but it is no longer manufactured, and while this mat is a little less comfortably cushy, it is similar. I like that it is decently thick and that both sides can be used. Both sides have decent grip. My only complaint is that it is a little hard to keep it rolled up due to it's thickness and it won't easily fit in my mat bag, but the shoestring tie that came with it helps it to stay compact while in transit.

I found it to be a very mid mat. Pros: Thickness, doesn’t get too slippery during hot yoga Cons: the smell (did go away after a month) it doesn’t roll well (if you roll tight it leaves a bend in the mat) so makes it awkward to carry. I wouldn’t purchase again but but too bad for the price.
