Coogam Qiyi 4x4 Speed Cube Stickerless Magic Puzzle Toy Gift for Kids and Adults Challenge (Qiyuan S Version)

It was a gift for my son, he has been using it for about 6 months now and it still works well for him. Considering that it is half destroyer, the quality is very good and resistant.

With many activities curtailed due to covid-19, I decided to try the 4x4 cube. This turned out to be an interesting challenge because some new strategies and algorithms were needed. I'm not a speed cuber. My solve times for the 3x3 are around 3 to 4 minutes. I now do the 4x4 in 15 to 20 minutes. So for me it provides a more sustained challenge and it is not as predictable as a 3x3. There are parity conditions that don't occur on the 3x3. If a parity occurs it must be resolved before solving the cube. So, bottom line, this can be a stimulating challenge for anyone who has maybe gotten a little bored by the 3x3. This particular product seems pretty solid and easy to manipulate. The speed freaks might find fault with some aspects of it. It gets jammed if I'm not careful but I'm not trying to set records.

I got my daughter a 3x3 cube and she became obsessed with it. At ten she managed to solve two sides. I decided to give her a harder cube and chose this one. This one is nice. The pieces move easily unlike other cubes that you sometimes have to fight to shift. This is one of my daughters favorite playthings.

The spotted of this cube definitely helped lower my son’s solve times. Great price.

Good quality

I really like the way this cube moves, and its matte like feel. It was my main cube for awhile, but one day without any warning all the pieces fell apart.
