BEST METALLIC PAINT EVER!
I have been remodeling 4 rooms in my home; seems like forever. I am using Modern Masters Pearl White Metallic paint to tone down the silver metallic paint and then adding Iridescent Medium and various colored glitter, depending on the room. This is the only paint that truly works, and I have tried them all. I do wish it was less expensive. I've purchased at least 4 cans now and that's a lot of money for 4 rooms, not to mention the rest of the paints, glitters and mediums that I use. But the look is well worth it. I embossed ferns on my family room wall using joint compound and stencils, and the paint sets them off as they are but I'm adding a few light colors to the ferns to really make them stand out. Awesome Paint!

Great paint
Used this for painting a backside of a wall in 2 niches and took some other Modern Masters metallic colors mixed with glaze to give it visual interest and not fall flat. I wanted to tile it but it would have cost at least $700 plus the pain of cutting it and grouting etc so this worked out much better and my spouse loves it. This particular color Pearl White metallic is somewhat sheer. I coated the wall twice. It was a tan color before.

DO NOT BUY THIS PAINT
Modern Masters paint is incredibly hard to work with and is impossible to apply evenly, especially in corners. I hired a professional painter and he applied a white primer coat and then two coats of Modern Masters pearl white as well as the semi-gloss clear coat protective layer and the paint looks like trash. (This is what the Modem Masters YouTube video recommends). The color and consistency of the paint is not uniform at all when it finally dries on the wall. I would never recommend anyone use their paint.

Looks Amazing, but follow directions
We painted our ceiling with MM Metallic Pearl, it is very important to follow directions. Our ceiling was first painted a bright white. It has a soft texture. We added an extender as directed. It took two coats to achieve desired results. It is important that you work quickly, smoothly, and evenly. Edges must not dry, and do not go back over what you have painted. If so, you will have darker streaks. After we finished, and it dried, it was amazing! Our ceiling looks like a tin ceiling. I didn't want just a plain ceiling, and I definitely achieved it. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of technique. You cannot just roll it on. You must roll in a straight line, and keep edges wet. We had two people, and two rollers, one person to fill the roller, and the other to roll it on. You must also make sure that the paint is well mixed, there is a lot of metallic in the paint and they may settle, which will give you an uneven look. We painted a very large area, so I feel this make it more challenging, but it went smoothly. This went quickly, evenly, and would do it again. It didn't take that long at all. Worth the money and effort!! i have attached a couple of photos, they do not in any way do justice!! End color is not a bright white, but a silvery pearl. It appears yellowish in the photos, but it is not.

Great paint, using it in walls requiere some experience. I love the results in my house.
Great product but, for best results you need to apply two coats of a flat paint with the color you want to achieve. Then apply one coat of the metallic paint and on the second coat have second painter using a dry natural sponge roll on the wet paint to achieve a faux finish with metallic paint. ** advise: this paint is not to be su used without the flat base from your favorite store. Neither use it in large wall areas without a finish it leaves the roll lines all over

Dont Overlap brush strokes unless you like that, we do!
This is amazing paint. I recently remodeled our master bedroom with new canned lights, fans, chandelier, smart outlets and color changing lights. To really pimp my ceiling work I chose this metallic pearl paint. It turned out better than I had hoped. Whenever you cross brush strokes it is darker where you crossed but I went ahead and used that to create a metallic marbling affect. Enough coats and you can get it to not show brush lines. I keep trying to upload photo but the amazon site not letting that work. Our ceiling is fricken amazing.

How you see it
3.5 stars. A translucent white suitable for a topcoat over white primers or colors to create special effects. The paint applies evenly and easily, very user friendly and over primed or previously painted wood a gallon can go a long way. My only problem is that being called Pearl White it appears to lean toward the ever so slightly amber side of white. I would have expected more of a grayish or opalescent hue. Mind you this is only slight and influenced by the colors of your undercoating and overall background.
