These taste great! I already purchased a second box.

These MRE bars are some pretty solid bars, I would compare them to the Level-1 Protein bars by 1stphorm. A heads up to anyone who order's these though. Make sure you order the "Prime" version not the "Non Prime". The "Prime" version are fresh and taste amazing while the "Non Prime" will be a little stale.

This is a weird one but the best way to resume it is:"Fake tasting candy bar made with real ingredients"It doesn't matter what protein it contains, they obviously process the f... out of it to make it taste probably the same regardless of flavour.

I waited until I was quite hungry to try my first MRE banana nut bread bar. The MRE bar has dozens of ingredients—none of which is bananas or nuts. The combination of ingredients does not produce flavors that resemble banana nut bread, at least for me. The bar has approximately 81 fat calories, 116 carbohydrate calories, and 90 protein calories. Those results are about the same as two-thirds of a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish sandwich that tastes much better.I’m diabetic, and the mix of proteins, fat, and carbs is acceptable. I’ll reserve the bars for emergencies such as burning more calories than expected when hiking or biking. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the bars will survive in a car that gets hot, so I can’t stash one in the glove box.Many years ago, soldiers called their Meals Ready to Eat “Meals Rejected by Ethiopians,” who were suffering from a famine. The MRE Bar isn’t that bad, but it should be much better..

Peanut butter crunch wasn't available. Tried this one. Don't care for it.
