Great, Inexpensive, Japanese Style Chopsticks
These are very pretty Japanese style chopsticks. The "blue" color is more of a blueish purple which I actually prefer. These chopsticks were made in Japan (at least according to the only English on the entire packaging) and most likely were intended for the Japanese market (as the packaging is all in Japanese). It makes the chopsticks seem more authentic that they were intended for the Japanese market and higher quality that they were made in Japan. These are very good quality chopsticks that will probably go through many uses--made from wood and have a decent coat(s) of lacquer on them. The box is perfect for taking them along with you, like in a lunch box as it is quite thick and not at all flimsy. The trick to washing lacquered wood chopsticks is to wipe them off right after finishing using them. You cannot let the food harden on them because then you cannot wipe them off. Chopsticks like these were never meant to be dumped in soapy dishwater and soaked like many people do with silverware; nor can you run them through a dishwasher--you will warp and ruin them. If you want to do that, buy some of the stainless steel or titanium chopsticks. These chopsticks are easy for the person I bought them for to use (he is an advanced user who has used them for years). The groves in the bottom of each stick are helpful for slippery foods.

Great pair of chopsticks.
This is the first pair of chopsticks I've ever owned. I've loved all forms of Asian food since I was a child and I learned to eat with chopsticks early on. I eat using the disposable variety every time I eat Chinese food. I finally got around to getting a reusable pair and I love these. They're sturdy, colorful, and nice and straight. The tips are knurled to provide extra grip on slippery or small pieces of food and the lacquer is sturdy and glossy. The order included a box to keep them in when not in use which is made of solid feeling hard plastic and should be sturdy and long lasting. Both box and sticks are rendered with attractive, colorful graphics which make them pleasing to look at. At just under a dollar for the chopsticks and a little over 3 for the shipping and handling I would say this was a good deal.

They are nice
So I bought these for my 9 year old to take to school to eat his sushi. He loves Thai food, and has been eating it since he was little, but just recently learned how to use chopsticks on our recent trip to an all-inclusive resort that had a Teppanyaki Restaurant. School just started and I wanted to sneak these in to his lunch box and surprise him. When the sticks arrived, I couldn't get the case open. No matter what I did, it would not "slide" open. I finally had to pry it open with my fingernail, and then slide it out. I slid it in-and-out a couple times to test it, and each time it was difficult to slide. It was just a little too snug. So.....I ended up showing him the chopsticks the night before so he could practice how to slide open the case. He was really excited to get these, and practiced opening the box, and I think he'll be fine. Overall, I am pleased with them. I was just looking for something inexpensive, and these will serve the purpose. They are smooth, lightweight, and very pretty. If I was buying some for myself I would upgrade to something nicer.

Good
Chopsticks comes out looking exactly like the picture. The holder is plastic and they rattle in there but it’s to be expected. Still use them though

Beautiful chopsticks
I really like these chopsticks. They're nice and easy to use. The only "con" is that they need to be hand washed, so I don't use them every day (I have a set of stainless steel chopsticks for everyday use that I just throw in the dishwasher). They look so pretty and the case is really nice, too. I think they'd make a good gift.

These are "cheap chopsticks" but surprisingly good quality
So, I was looking for some chopsticks with a case that didn't cost a fortune since I tend to lose them eventually. These popped up in my searches and ordered them. They work fine, easy to clean, and the case is nice. Overall a good bargain if you're looking for portable reusable Japanese chopsticks.
