Rose Satin Jaquard Royal, Fabric by the Yard

I was a little worried about ordering this for a bride that wanted a Tiffany Blue pirate coat, because the color says "jade." I crossed my fingers and ordered it, and it is EXACTLY the beautiful turquoise pictured. Be advised that brocades/jacquards ALWAYS fray, it's just the nature of the fabric. This DID NOT fray more than any other, but be advised if you are a novice, this fabric can be tricky to work with. You will need interfacing etc for most projects. Here it is on the coat. Again, I thought it was stunning!

Awsome fabric first thing I did once I got it was order more! I Love the color, and the material is beautifull. This is not a thin satin (like pajamas) this is very heavy satin. This material is almost upholstery, nice and heavy. Made beautifull pillow covers and a duvet for my bed.

This fabric is very good. It is heavy. Definitely worth it. Unfortunate that it sells starting at 2 yards. I only needed one. But good to have on hand.

The color is less vibrant and less yellow than what is pictured. Rather than appearing yellow gold, the color leans more toward the mustard (the color mustard not the condiment) gold. Goes well with Navy solids. It was folded poorly so it arrived with a few wrinkles. There was on noticeable Snagging of the fibers on the flat side (about 8"); otherwise it appeared to be clean of damage. Generally, it is a good fabric for the cost.

This Rose Satin Jaquard Fabric in Mauve feels substantial, nice drape, and rich color. Very beautiful.

This silk is awesome, it does frill a lot , but to answer people question silk usually frills because it is fragile material

IS THINNER THAN I THOUGHT BUT DID MAKE A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING ALBUM FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER. HAVE USED FABRIC.COM MANY TIMES WITH NO PROBLEM

Exactly as expected. Rich burgundy color with rose pattern. Great for gowns and corsets.
