Really speeds up securing things to roof rack
Seemed like a goofy consumerist purchase given anyone can tie something down, but I am super pleased with it. Appears to be high quality and should last many several years (I purchased to replace another cam strap that broke after two years). Revolutionized securing down lumber or a canopy tent to my roof rack, especially when I don't have somebody on the other side of the car to toss the loose end back to me. Doesn't require much effort to cinch really tight. Not hard to replicate with a rope and trucker's hitch, but worth it for anyone without a fondness for knots but who has to regularly lash down a canoe.

Great alternative to standard ratcheting tie downs.
Easier to operate than standard ratcheting tie downs!

Makes securing loads a breeze
I love this compared to traditional tie downs. The buckle can be located precisely to out of the way locations. Its amazing how much tension you can get on these, I would say almost equal to some ratchet straps. Worth the money, I'm going to buy the longer one next.

Haven't used it for anything demanding
I have used it as a cloths line, used it to help moving a rusted washing machine. Haven't had any vehicle or major uses as yet. I enjoy the weight and compact nature which is why this is apart of my backpack and daily commute. It is easy to use and like I stated above it can be used for more than just holding things to vehicle.

it works well
For strapping sporting gear to roof racks, the adjustability is awesome. I am able to adjust the buckle to within reach and release it from a comfortable stance regardless of the shape/size of gear strapped to the roof.

Worked but end frayed after first use making subsequent uses harder
Was fairly easy to use. Value for money would have been good if it hadn’t frayed upon first use. Now it’s harder to thread the end into the buckle which is frustrating.
