Great value, great taste, great quality and protein content. A little addictive to eat! I love that these are good for me and not too high in calories either.

I really enjoy these. Because they are mostly just protein and fiber I don't really have to worry about eating too many. I eat the outer skin. I like the consistency when biting into them -- a bit of crunch but with some give, the outer skin has a chewiness that appeals to me as well. I think some people who don't like them may be expecting a dry snack. These are slightly moist and fermented, which makes them sour (the chili flavor tastes a bit like pepper jack cheese to me, that's my favorite flavor). People looking for something similar to a potato chip may not find what they are looking for in these. But with these you don't have to worry about eating fry grease or accidentally over doing it and eating too many calories (since they have so few calories it doesn't really matter how many you eat). The main down-side is that they have to be refrigerated after opening, which reduces versatility. At work to avoid having to use the communal fridge I just pack a day's worth to have at my desk and don't leave any leftovers overnight.In addition to eating them straight out of the bag, these work well on salads, on top of cooked veggies/grains, etc. If you put them on some hot food (after cooking) and they warm up a little bit, they still work well. It is a decent way to quickly add some interesting flavors protein to a dish.

Mediterranean medley flavour:Maybe other flavours are better, but the texture is really weird, too. There used to be a candy wax bottle that contained a little sugar water for kids. The bean's texture is the same as chewing on those play wax bottles. The beans feel slimy, cold, and wet, and have no distinct flavour. Tried heating them up to see if eating them warm would give them a better taste and texture, but no. They don't taste good and the slimy feeling is very off-putting.

My Sicilian Grandmother introduced these amazing beans to me when i was just a little kid. I've eaten lupini beans since those days and enjoyed them. However, I've never had lupini beans with added flavor. While the flavor is subtle, I do appreciate an attempt to cover the brine taste. I never minded the brine taste, but I understand those that do.Texture and taste are what i've been used to, not too firm or too soft, bit of zing from the brine in addition to the subtle flavor. One thing I was disappointed in was the size of the beans. I am used to a much larger lupini bean. These beans are half to a third of the size I grew up with. It doesn't affect the taste or texture but I think it does hinder in the handling and skinning of the beans. Not a big deal but something to consider if you are more familiar with the larger beans.For those reviews that give bad reviews on the taste, I get it. Lupinis are not for everyone, just like edamame. However, these are one of the most amazing nutritional foods out there. High in protein, fiber, magnesium, potassium,... a true superfood.I like the packaging of this product. Easy to store and transport. Much easier than the jars I'm used to. Expiration date issues as reported by others is not an issue. Ordered the variety 8 pack and all have expiration dates of 5/2020.I like this company is trying to promote this little wonder bean. As a lupini bean lover I hope you keep it up and bring us more options for this product!

Great protein packed snack. Do have to watch salt intake with some flavors if you have high BP since the ones like Mediterranean salt contain a good amount salt per serving. Otherwise a mostly guilt free snack alternative!

These lupini beans are amazing. I am totally addicted now. I had seem them at the grocery store and picked them up and put them down a couple times, and finally on a whim tried one bag. I have a lot of dietary restrictions (no gluten, dairy, sugar, and prefer to stay vegan and avoid soy and any inflammatory oils) and it's hard to find anything that fits them all, let alone TASTES good. I can't find anything not to love about these little beans: huge protein, fiber, none of the bad stuff. I also have really difficult digestion, and it's true they are just super easy to digest. They are the *perfect* snack for travel, small and well packaged and easy to carry, and I can NOT count on finding anything I can eat in an airport or train station. The bag says refrigerate after opening but I've traveled with an open bag for over a day... though I will say that an open bag lasts rarely longer than a day around me anyway. For those who say the taste gets better over time... I actually loved these from the first bite! The texture as well as the taste is really excellent, kind of like a firm crunch. I can't think of anything else like it, but I am in love. I have tried almost all the flavors and like all of them, but the garlic rosemary is definitely my favorite. Can't lose with these little beans!

These are very tasty. Like a more flavorful, savory edamame. They're very expensive for what you get, so it has to be a rare treat. Wasn't shipped in original packaging- which wouldn't matter, but I was clearly given bags from a mix of boxes. This resulted in more than half of these coming from a box that expired in less than a month. The others expired in 2 months. All of the bags were very dirty as well with what appears to be machine lubricant.All in all, they're definitely worth trying and I'll be looking for more. But this place can't be the go-to if when they're going to ship dirty, near expiration product.
