Well written, gripping story. This book had hardly any mistakes in it, great stuff. Loved reading it! The storyline was interesting, and there was real action, not the ordinary'he said, she said'

What a super story this is another story of the struggles of America's first people with a non sloppy love story l really really enjoyed it. The kind of stories you can't put down l would love to know what the future held for Black Horse 🐎and Meadow perhaps Veronica will write another about their future.really

First time I have read a book by this author. Okay read. Found the book quite short. Could have done with more content. Fairly typical ending. Interesting to read about Indians though. Never read a book about Indians before. Will read another book by Veronica Blake.

An entirely different read for me but I really enjoyed it and look forward to experiencing more about the life of American Indians.

Black horse is a good read and unusual story line which tell a story of a white girl and an Indian chief

Different to the books I usually read but I did enjoy it. Probably not what I would choose but would be happy to read another book like it.

BLACK HORSE was an easy, pleasant read which had a sweet and believable story line, though following RIDE THE WIND by Lucia St Clair Robson, it lacked the detail and depth of the latter, which gave such an insight into what life may have been like among the Native American tribes. That aside, Black Horse was a refreshing read after reading a few silly and totally unbelievable Native American historical novels.

i enjoyed the book had a good story. will look out for more of her books it wasnt what i expected .
