The Massively Multiplayer World of Ghosts, Volume 1: The King of Cheating (Saturday AM TANKS / MMWOG)

I really enjoyed this graphic novel/manga, I love reading action and horror manga, and this one is all action. I read this comic in a little less than two hours, it held my attention, and i really took the time to admire the artwork. I don’t want to give anything away, but sometimes I would get ready player one vibes, which i love as well, really any reading material that has to do with gaming, peeks my interest. I’m sure I’ll be looking forward to vol 2 (which I hope is coming) the art style is amazing, and I loved the characters, writing was well done as well, and want to find out what happens next.Overall, I thought it was fantastic, artwork is great, diverse characters, and i would give this one a 10/10 and 100% recommend.

I got this book for my son to read because it looked rather interesting. The book mainly focuses on this character named Nilay and his ghost Vyper. It almost feels like you’re in a video game inside of the book. There are quite a lot of pages in this book with each page's average word count being pretty high.The illustrations in the book are really well drawn and unique. It reminds me a lot like Pokémon and other anime video games/shows. The story flows really well and it has good and clear character development shown throughout the book.I’m excited to see what they do for volume 2 since this is the first book in the series thus far. Overall I highly recommend this book to people who like anime and video games.

This book was published 09/2022 and when I got it for my son I wasn't sure how he would react. He just turned 9 and most of the books that he has are chapter books and its obvious he isnt too excited about the transition from books with pictures to chapter books.This definitely solved that problem as when he opened the book you should have seen his eyes light up. It was great. The story line of this book is great, as he loves video games and anything video game related.Construction of the books is exactly what I would have expected.Overall a great purchase for my young reader!

I got this for my anime loving comic book reading kiddo. As soon as the book came he rushed over to a corner of the living room with a blanket and a pillow and read the book cover to cover. He said it was super cool! He now wants the whole series (I hope there are a lot of books). I wasn't sure he would like it as he hates to read, but this one kept his attention to the end. My kiddo is 13 if that helps and is not a fan of many books. This one was a home run!

While my oldest doesn't give me a lot of details, skimming through it the art style is clean, and most of all, my son approves. He has been on a Manga kick lately, and this apparently fits the bill too. Price for it is average, which is good as I doubt that they could make money on it at a lower price, and it seems to connect with my son on some level. I rate this as good, and will be looking to buy vol.2 when I can.
