Works with Dell Precision Tower 3620
I needed to install my new nVidia RTX 2060 Super video display card into my Dell Precision Tower 3620 computer. The original Dell power supply in the Dell Precision T3620 is only 260W and it has the 8-pin interface plugged into the motherboard (not the 24-pin). I had two issues: (1) More power for the nVidia RTX 2060 Super video display card. (2) 8-pin interface to plug the new bigger capacity power supply into the system board. The COMeap 24 Pin to 8 Pin ATX PSU Power Adapter Cable is the perfect "fix" for my needs. I got a new replacement power supply (460W). I attached the COMeap 24 Pin to 8 Pin ATX PSU Power Adapter Cable to the bigger capacity power supply and the Dell Precision T3620 system board (was easy to install). It works perfect. Then I removed the hard drives cage from the Dell computer case to make room for my full size nVidia RTX 2060 Super video display card (you need to remove more than just the pop rivets securing the hard drives cage to the computer case). Finally, the Dell Precision Tower 3620 computer is functional with bigger capacity power supply using the COMeap 24 Pin to 8 Pin ATX PSU Power Adapter Cable and the nVidia RTX 2060 Super video display card.

Fixes Dell's stupidity
I usually stay away from Dell and most big brand computers for that matter because of the stupid proprietary hardware they use. Why Dell can't use the standard ATX power connector is beyond me and the SATA power connectors are routed through the motherboard. How stupid is that just an extra thing that can break. I got a Dell 9020 with an i7-4790 that was using the on chip graphics. So in order to add a video card the old PS had to go. You will need to get a cable like this to convert the standard ATX MB power connector to the proprietary Dell. I also pulled the SATA power cables from the MB and did direct cables from the new PS. It's a cable so it works kind of difficult to screw up.

So Far So Good - Happy Buyer
I've had this product installed in my PC for only week now but everything has worked well. The materials and construction look and feel strong.I bought this because my Dell Optiplex 9080 system board uses Dell's proprietary (bs) 8 pin instead of 24. I was upgrading my PSU for a new graphics card and wasn't interested in buying a Dell brand because they're like 500% price of a normal PSU. My first attempt at installing the new PSU w/ adapter and graphics card resulted in a black screen, but after I reseated the graphics card and all cables it fired up without a hitch. I don't believe that the adapter was the problem. It clicked nicely into the system board and PSU cable.

This adapter saved me!
I had to replace the PowerSupply on my mother's Dell Computer. I purchased the recommended unit and when it arrived it had the wrong MB interface. I could tell it was going to be a problem getting the correct power supply with the correct connector as the same model came with two different connectors... It was a hit of miss situation. I ordered this adapter and it converted the interface so that it would fit the motherboard in that computer. Mom is happy so everybody is happy!
