After online research gave Carbyne an excellent review I received grease gun just as described and well packaged. The instructions were well written and for the first time I didn't get a drop of grease on the gun, hands or clothes. Also following instructions allowed an air free loading and reloading and maximized the entire tube of grease. The rubber grip portion of the handle is a great idea for grip in gloves or oily hands. The end cap is a great feature. I've bought several grease guns at local parts stores, discount tool stores and big box stores; and wasted a lot of time and frustration. Do yourself a favor and try this brand out. It's quality for the weekend or professional, and there customer support team actually emailed me info and answered immediately when I had a question about this product. You'll get great quality for the price, and excellent customer service if you just need to ask a simple question like proper storage, safety and usage.**Wanted to follow-up after a couple of season's usage and remark that this Grease gun is still working perfectly. My previous grease gun would waste so much during refilling and removing air, storage etc that I went through at least 3 tubes of grease or more during my home usage for tractor, finishing mower, bush hog, riding mower and some light automobile work. I rarely use more than one tube when I follow the easy to read instructions and storage information. I did break the plastic nozzle cap off so I will say that I always place it on a peg on the wall with the flexible hose pointed upwards to prevent any gravity leakage. I have several friends who were so impressed with this Grease gun that they've bought them for themselves. It's well worth the price and has paid for itself in saved grease leakage and spillage. I will be giving these as Father's Day and other holiday gifts. Great product!

Use it at home for trailer bearings and some occasional Automobile work. Don’t need a full size professional gun. Had been purchasing mini grease guns at the auto store and they last a couple of years, they break, go buy a new one. Saw this online and thought I’d give it a try. Defiantly worth the extra 10 dollars I spent. Much easier to load, a lot sturdier than my old one and all around a better tool.

I already had one of these, thus the reason I purchased another for a different grease. The gun itself is great, but this one in particular seems to have been sitting on the shelf somewhere for a long time. The rubber seals are dry and starting to crack. Fortunately the grease I am using in it is very tacky and doesn’t separate easily. I’m hoping it doesn’t end up leaking.

Upon arrival I loaded it with a tube of Dexter Lithium #2 grease. After a short period of time I noticed grease leaking from the bleed valve. I reset the valve several time in hopes of correcting the leak to no avail. I then sent an email to seller customer service and immediately heard back from a rep named Jacob. He advised he would immediately send me a bleed valve and for my troubles a gun kit, what ever that is. I was very appreciative and delayed finishing the job I started assuming I would soon receive the new bleed valve and and took the pressure off the grease gun to slow the leak. I am located in Las Vegas and the valve was being sent from CA. I waited for over a week and emailed Jacob and never heard back. At this point I will be returning grease gun to Amazon. Very disappointment and never again will I purchase their product again. I understand things can fail but when new I expect support and not phony lies.UPDATE: Prior to returning the gun to Amazon I again contacted the mfg in regard to not receiving replacement bleed valve as promised. I was advised it had been sent but they would resent one immediately. They were very apologetic and understanding. Within a few days I did receive a new valve as well as a bulk loader. I replaced the bleed valve and the gun works perfect, no more leaks. The only question/concern I have is the strength of the spring. I have never used a grease gun with a spring so powerful. Bottom line, the gun works as designed w/o leaking and I had great customer service. Hence the 5 star rating.

Once loaded this gun works satisfactorily. However, it is very, very difficult to load. I thought this premium gun would be easy to load and use. The first time I loaded it was not too bad as the follower rod was not greasy. After that the keeper at the bottom of the gun that is used to keep the follower rod retracted slips and will not lock. This makes it impossible to screw the barrel back into the head. I have developed a system where I use my vice to keep the rod retracted but what a pain! A simple notch on the rod that slides into a slot to lock the rod in the retracted position would vastly superior. Don't buy this gun.

Nice and compact easy to break down for storage. I use this for my RV and break it down and put it in a Ziploc in the storage for Usage when needed for the RV.

Pleasantly surprised. Nicely made. I was concern that aluminum barrel will be so tin that I will dent it, but it will likely be my fault if I do as it is reasonably heavy, considering what is on the market today.Nice feature for hose or tube with grease nipple fitting. Since I own about 5 grease guns with different lubricants for my work I also attached both the hose and a tube. I put a female cap on the tube and use the hose for greasing, put the cap on the hose if I would like to use rigid tube put the fitting on it or I use a a needle fitting.I also read a lot of folks have a problem removing fitting from grease nipple (zerk). Please do not blame grease gun or fitting, there is a correct way to use it. The fitting actually comes in two parts, although manufacturer screw it together so tightly that it is hard to take a part. Take a grease fitting (which screws onto the gun) put the hex nut into the vise or wrench (sometimes the hex is not there just two parallel grooves) then use those. Now look at the fitting and you will see knurled surface. unscrew this knurled part of the fitting couple of turns and your problem of removing fitting from the Zerk is solved. I usually leave my loose. If it is too loose on the Zerk then tighten it a bit. If you need to use both hands on the grease gun, snug the knurled fitting by hand only and it will not come off. When you done greasing turn (loosen) the knurled fitting and it just pops off.I took a picture but for some reason this website doe not take it. I will try again as during my research I could not believe there is so many complaints about this simple issue.I also ordered HORUSDY Mini Pistol Grip Grease Gun, with 3 OZ. Cartridge Flexi Hose & Coupler (2900 PSI) but it is not here yet.Cheers

Once it is on the grease nipple it is difficult to remove. That being said very well made and value for money
