Nice headlamp
Some of the comments say it's not bright enough. Well it's not a searchlight and not meant to be. Plenty bright enough for what it's meant to do. If you're looking to illuminate a golf course or search from a helicopter it's not for you. It's very light, surprisingly comfortable and appears to be pretty well built with decent materials. Only reasons it's not a 5 star is because the USB cover won't stay closed so worried about weather resilience, also for me too many modes... high, low and red would be sufficient. Don't like having to scroll through each mode. And lastly it's a little pricey for what it is but if it lasts it'll be worth it

Only good on high setting
My $35 peltz headlight beats it for brightness and battery life

Probably the best headlamp I've purchased
Used this headlamp for my hardhat, literally expands your field of view in extremely dark areas.Highly recommended!

SO FAR SO GOOD?
I'm a astronomer and have bought and hated 1/2 dozen if these. Looking for a good one.I went this route (LED in strip) and that part if it looks good. But the weakness's of the other brands is always the elasticity of the strap stretches out quickly. AND OR the cheap thin wires get shorts. One extensive brand I opened and re solidered the cheap wires) it worked again for a couple days then shorted again. The battery charged well on this one. But I've yet to use it other than a (NICE! tests) so I don't know how well the battery will work. It has generic connections so it seems a replacement or other battery could be used. I'd go 5 stars IF the cord/wire was thicker and IF the place the wire goes into the battery was padded/sheielded from being/shorting in time. I will update my STARS after some usage. Very comfortable and really nice SOFT light since it's coming from more than one point. So it's less specular and more diffuse light. Like the difference in "on camera strobe" compared to a large "softbox".ILL BE BACK
