Neo-tec 92cc power house
The neo-tec 92cc is a copy of the stihl MS-660. This chainsaw is a beautiful and unbelievable awesome machine. It has incredibly overwhelming power, very well built, the chainsaw bar is the best quality of any high-end brand name stock prodpuct on the market. The Chain, however is not high end quality and has stretched some, no big deal, easy to replace it. Amazingly the saw fired over on the 2nd pull, and then releasing the choke started on the next pull. It is recommended to use a 35:1 ratio 2 cycle gas mix during a break in period, I mixed 1st gallon of 91 octane (recommended) gasoline rich about 25:1, the saw sill started easy and ran great. 💯 percent totally worth the money. The only negative is the saw has too much power and torque, not for beginners or novice homeowners. Be cautious , hold on with both hands. Love this chainsaw.

So far so good
Bought one for curiosities sake, wasn’t sure what to expect. Out of the box there’s some minor assembly required but it started right up and ran. The carburetor was set very rich and needed adjusting before it would cut wood properly but without a load it ran pretty well. After a conservative adjustment - it’s still on the rich side, it rips. I’ve only used two tanks of fuel so I can’t speak for the long term durability but this saw will cut. As you’d expect at this price point some of the plastic feels cheap and the chain tension adjuster isn’t as nice as it could be but it works. The tool kit that came with the saw is surprisingly good and contains everything you need to assemble and adjust the saw. Not Snap-On but it is a nice addition to the kit. Even came in a set of ring compressors (!) for an eventual rebuild? There was a coupon for a spare chain if you send your address and order number to a gmail account and they sent the chain promptly. A nice touch. The saw with a 25” bar is a little over 20 pounds which you don’t really notice when using it but it’s not something I’d lug through the woods for a small job. So far I’m pretty pleased with the purchase, it’s more saw than I need and it won’t replace the MS290 or 021 for general use but the power is excellent and for the price I’m quite satisfied. Time will tell on the longevity, I suspect some tinkering will be required but if you don’t mind or even enjoy that sort of thing this might be for you.

Impressive for the price
This purchase has been an emotional rollercoaster! The shipping was delayed twice and spent a week at one location ending up taking inquires with the seller and me filing a claim with the USPS. I don’t think this was the seller’s fault but I did notice some consistent “slow shipping” reviews of the seller. I believe this is shipped by the seller and not Amazon. I received the 36” bar two weeks before receiving the saw. To be honest – I did not read any instructions and if you need them to install a handle and the bar/chain – then you don’t need to be running this saw yet. I had a replacement chain tensioner on hand already and had to swap that out immediately. The chain tensioner that comes with it is terrible and “gritty.” I would not even try to use the one that came with this saw. The top plastic is just a khunt hair off and the decompression valve isn’t exactly centered but it’s something I can easily live with considering the price. If it bothers me too much, I might be able to gently shape it with a heat gun but I’d risk making it worse. Lots of compression, so the compression relief is necessary for my shoulder that is tired from years of military service. I am also expecting this to be tuned on the rich side as I did measure 1.75 turns out on the low adjustment from factory. I left it at that and figured I’d go from there and I could lean it out if it has a hard time starting. I slowly pulled the cord about 5 times to get the saw primed with the rich 25:1 mix I’m using for break in. I’ll be darned – this thing popped off first real pull. Clicked on ½ choke and she started and idled! Not bad considering the horror stories of people not being able to start these. I will say though – you MUST know how to adjust carbs on a saw because this is probably 90% of why people have hard times with saws either starting, keeping them idling, or poor performance. And we wont talk about the “lean” mean killers of saws (yeah pun intended). Get yourself a tach for $20 and learn. I immediately made 4 or 5 cuts on some small gum tree logs to put a little stress on the engine for the ring’s sake and get her warmed up. Afterwards I took it inside to do a look-over and tighten the already stretched chain (from being new). I smelled raw fuel and started taking the filter off, and other stuff looking for the reason. The fuel cap needs to be extra snug because it’s not the best but that wasn’t the problem. I removed the skid plate and low and behold – the seam of the molded fuel tank was weeping some fuel. I took pictures and contacted Neotec. That evening, I simply ordered a new tank because they are cheap and I know it would be faster to get this up and running especially after waiting three weeks for this saw to arrive. Neotec responded 3 days later offering to send a new fuel cap and a small refund for my troubles. Even though it’s not the cap – I accepted the small refund since it covers the cost of the new tank. The new tank arrived in 2 days and 1.5 hours of my labor on a rainy day in the barn fixed the problem. I cut a red maple with it and got a nice 12’ log ready for the mill. It cuts great as it should with a new chain. It was a little sluggish in the cut but I know it’s running super rich and requires a good tune on the carb to wake this beast up. When I say rich, yeah oil to fuel is rich but I talking rich as in fuel to air. I did not want to stop work and mess with the saw so I grabbed my old, 3rd generation newly rebuilt Jonsered 70E and finished bucking the tree. Overall impression? I am indeed impressed. Lots of power and lots of saw for the price. It’s about the same price as the 16” Echo 3510 I got for my wife! Parts are cheap – so cheap that’s a bit of a curse too. I deburred some of the sharp edges of the plastics when I took it apart to replace the fuel tank. The chain adjuster is garbage. The fuel and oil caps could be better. I did not fill the oil tank but it seems it might be leaky but that’s common on any saw which is why I don’t fill it unless I’m doing a lot of work. I used blue Loctite on all bolts I had apart (not the screws) for added measures. One of the bolts for the felling dogs/spikes seemed too long so I used one of my own that was maybe 1/8” shorter. The choke lever feels a bit clunky and cheap. However, despite all of this, I feel this is a decent saw and had great potential. If you are mechanically inclined and don’t mind making a few adjustment or improvements, then this is a great saw for the price. And of course, make sure you know how to adjust the carb. I am not a professional but I we run saws a lot on our 30 acres and occasionally use our Woodland Mills sawmill. This is great for a homeowner like myself who can’t justify spending $1800 for a saw that won’t get used a whole lot. And lastly, be advised… yes – Stihl OEM parts will fit… BUT… Stihl OEM parts are not the easiest to find online.

Doesn’t work, no customer support
Just suck it up and buy a Stihl instead. I was excited to use this chainsaw based on reviews from other customers that it performed well for the price and was basically a Stihl clone. However, I should have heeded the “ you get what you pay for” caution. The chainsaw I received was defective and wouldn’t start. Seller never responded to my request for help or a refund even though it was return eligible and within the return window. I was disappointed by the poor product quality and lack of customer service.

Great saw
I love this saw... Cut what I needed. Runs great started with two pulls right out of the box. I think it cuts as good as the sthil ms660 would recommend this song for anybody that has big trees they need to cut up

Solid product
This thing is a hog I love it.. obviously it’s a heavier saw, but the power is worth it. Chain tensioner isn’t the best but 10/10 for the money

Be careful
This is the second one I purchased from this company. The first one was perfect. This one I was not supplied shipping I do for the second shipment since the bar and chain and power head are shipped separately. Had to contact them to get tracking. The power head had the e clip for the chain sprocket was not installed correctly and the chain flew off when I started the saw. Luckily the chain did not do any damage but it could have been bad. Make sure that you thoroughly inspect the saw before starting it.

Nice!
Arrived a day early, they gave all the tools needed for assembling the handle and attaching the bar, along with a few spare screws, a scrench and a fuel mixing can. Mixed the fuel 25:1 for these first few tanks and it runs great, after break in I'll go up to recommended and adjust the jets.

Only used it for a few minutes, but very happy with the performance. Read a few reviews and will probably upgrade the chain

Very bad doesn't work properly

Haven't put much time in with it yet, but so far I'm really impressed for the price. Added mixed fuel and bar oil and it fired right up, idles well, and cut up an entire White Ash tree in no time. I'm ashamed to admit that it runs better than my smaller Stihl saw (so far). My only complaint is the chain tension is hard to adjust, seems like it was poorly machined and very "sticky", but still functional.
