Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 (2E Width) Running Shoes Our latest Go-To-Shoe now has our holistic GuideRails support system plus soft yet responsive cushioning. Streamlined Mesh Upper Constructed using a breathable mesh upper, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 Running Shoes wrap the foot in lightweight support. Perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow throughout the construction whilst, at the same time allow hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh create a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. The Adrenaline GTS 19 supplies the same proven fit of its predecessor whilst also integrating a more streamlined look which increases overall comfort and reduces bulk giving you speed and agility mile after mile. Synthetic overlays also feature on the upper to increase structure and support. Strategically placed around the heel and next to the lacing system the overlays work to ensure a supportive fit whilst also providing added durability. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides. The 2E width is specially designed for wider feet. Also featuring BioMoGo Dna which is DNA technology blended with the BioMoGo midsole to provide adaptive cushioning throughout the midsole vs. just in the heel and forefoot. Over hyped 19s?No.
There is too much hype about running shoes. I’m 6 feet tall and weigh 16 stone 8lbs and get knee ache on runs over 2-3k. So, despite being a long time Brooks user, I was sceptical about the claims that the guide bars/tracks in the 19s offered any knee protection. Did 11k in my Brooks 18 last week, for example, and suffered knee pain near the end and afterwards. Two days ago I used these newly purchased shoes for a 12k run. My longest run for 10 years. On the day of the 12k, and two days later, not a twinge. Very impressed and delighted customer.

Perfect fit and very comfortable to run in.
I’ve never paid a high price for trainers but I must admit these are the best running shoe I’ve owned.Very comfortable for a wide fit. I must add for the price they are a very good running shoe.I am definitely sticking with Brooks shoes from now on.

Great buy
Great comfortable shoe. Not as light as the ghost but for comfort, stability and width they are excellent. Great buy.

Brooks trainers split - don't buy.
I brought a pair of Brooks last September. I usually buy Asics but a peer runners recommendedthem so I thought I'd give them a try, even thought they were a lot more expensive. What a load of rubbish!!! The Brooks have split at the toe after less than 2 runs a week for 9 months.I havn't worn them for any other purpose, they get dried and stored like any other trainer. The only thing that's worse than these trainers is the customer service of the reseller thatsells them - Alton Sports. When the Brooks split I messaged AS via amazon.AS had me PAY to return them and I got a message back on 7th Juneassuring me a replacement pair were being processed 'right away' for me.14th June arrived and replacement pair that was being sent 'right away' had not made an appearance. So I emailed AS again that day - guess what, no reply. It is now the 22nd and I'm guessing Alton Sports are a) hibernating b) can't be bothered c) don't exist.So. whatever you do DON'T buy BROOKS and DON'T buy from Alton Sports.Dear Alton SportsAt the beginning of June I returned the above trainers to you after they had split than a year after a brought them.On 7th June I got a message from "Joe" assuring me a replacement pair were being processed 'right away' for me.When 14th June arrived the replacement pair that was being sent 'right away' had not made an appearance. So I emailed "Joe" again that day an got no reply. It is now the 22nd and I'm guessing Alton Sports are a) hibernating b) can't be bothered c) don't exist. So, guess I'll take to the review section now, for what good that will do.Should have stuck with Asics - they don't turn to crap in less than a year and the resellers look after you.Really really poor customer support from Alton Sports
