Excellent product for the money !!!I am an HVAC installer and use this product almost every day !!! You can’t go wrong when purchasing this device .

For the past 25 years in the HVAC business I have been using a hammer and the steel punches for swaging. I finally decided to UPGRADE to this device. Since I braze ALL my line set connections this tool works perfectly for me. I say that because it does create small cracks in the tip of the pipe when you expand it. I can easily fill these cracks over while brazing. IF you solder this should still work well for you. The solder should be sucked into the joint past these cracks and still be able to seal.

I have used this tool before and this is for all of same type tools . they will all cause copper pipe to split at the end when you expand, if you do not want pipe to split heat area before you expand it and it will not split and will expand easier ( hope this helps )

Not a good tool!!

This tool works like a champ. Just make sure you size the cooper slowly otherwise it will split the cooper.
