One Word. Fantastic!
I NEVER write a product review but always look at others when considering a product and felt compelled to provide one to Zinus because they simply deserve it. I searched all over town for a new full size box spring for my 10 year old son's convertible "crib to bed" as we had a great mattress but the boxspring was a bunkie board made of wood (1x 2's) and literally a flat piece of cardboard. Every time he turned in bed, jumped on bed, parents were in bed reading etc., the bed was the loudest bed I have ever heard and it finally drove me to insanity. My search began with the retail mattress stores as well as Costco (big fan!) etc. No one had them in stock and it would be deliverable in two weeks, couldn't tell me a price, horrible customer service and the list goes on and on. I got tired of the hunt and thought I'd try Amazon.com with zero expectations of even finding one. I quickly found several companies offering box springs and settled in on the options that Zinus offered and did my research. I chose the metal version and paid. two days later it was at my front door and twenty minutes later I had it put together and my son even assisted me. One box, makes ZERO noise, quick assembly, awesome support for mattress, perfect fit (I did measure his bed frame etc. prior to purchasing), lightweight but solid, incredibly strong, and only around $95.00 total. Kudos to Zinus for a fantastic product and know that my next box spring will be purchased from you!

Great support suprisingly
My husband and I love it. Weve had this for a bit and It offers amazing support. I was quite shocked and didn't expect this with the low price. Its 2 inches smaller than what it says, which fit our full perfect , so I'm kinda glad it was slightly smaller than description states, but others may not be so pleased that it's slightly smaller. Or maybe it's nust the standard size and they have it listed incorrectly? It was a breeze to put it together. I'm 5'2 and petite and I did it alone. It took me 30-40 minutes. My hubby was happy when he got home! And I was pleased with myself for putting it together. He of course carried it into the bedroom and put it under our mattress. I love our mattress so much, but we needed a new boxspring! Cheap and comfortable support, win, win!

Sturdy. Light. Quiet. Good.
Ordered this because my wood box spring was old and was making quite a lot of noise with any movement. This item arrived with the box a little beat up, but the frame is made out of some sturdy metal so there was no damage to the item itself. Really quite easy to assemble, took me probably 20 minutes to put together by myself. They provided all the tools I needed to put the thing together which was great. Make sure you tighten all the screws good and tight, or else you may have some creaks here and there.

Great boxspring, hopefully will be good for disassembling when I move
The reason I went with this box spring over a traditional one for my mattress and bed frame is because of its ability to be disassembled. While I'm attached to both my frame and mattress, in less than a year I will likely be moving in with my boyfriend which means someone's items might have to go into storage depending on the apartment situation + in general moving is easier if you can compact your stuff. This, while heavy, can be broken down into its parts fairly easily so while I will need a moving truck for much of my furniture I should easily be able to fit this frame into my compact SUV, thus hopefully saving on movers/time. It wasn't difficult for me to put together, and the numbers that "matched up" were great because you barely need to pay attention to the instructions except for screw sizes at that point. I didn't have trouble putting it together as one person, with the exception of zipping up the cover as the full box spring is a little unwieldy for that. I would suggest laying down the cover then laying down the frame pieces on top as this way you should be able to just zip it from the top but I had put it together and then remembered the cover at that point... It was fine though as a mid-20s small-ish, not very fit person to assemble!

Easy to assemble, high quality, clear (one page) instructions
What a breeze to assemble! Instructions were very clear, parts clearly labeled, tools and extra pieces included. It was actually pretty fun to build. Seems sturdy, made with high quality materials. It was easy for me (a young person) to maneuver, but if you have mobility issues you might want a second person. I got this because my old box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs in our new house. I had to bring this disassembled up the stairs and build it in my room. Took me about 30 minutes to put together.

Yaaaassss!
My room is in the attic space and there was no room to move my full box spring from up the stairs and into the room. I went without for a week, slept like crap, and my mattress started sinking on the frame from lack of support. I looked for a frame that could be assembled, and this was the winner. Not only was it a winner, but this sucker is more than perfect. My wood box spring made noise everytime I moved. This thing is silent! It was so simple to put together, you'd literally have to be short bus to get it wrong. It comes with the simple tools necessary for assembly and even comes with a fabric cover that makes it look like any other box spring. It easily fit over the frame with zero issue. Perfect size with my full mattress and I sleep better than ever. What's evsn cooler is this can be taken apart and put back together anywhere in the house. This box spring is kick ass.

Great box spring
I was a little hesitant to buy a box spring that needed assembly, but based on the reviews it seemed like a good choice. When we took it out of the box, all the pieces looked a little intimidating. But, it was actually really easy to assemble - the numbering of the pieces made it foolproof and totally logical. On a frustration scale of 1-10 this was maybe a 2, only because my husband gets so impatient. But definitely the easiest thing we’ve assembled together, took about 30 minutes just because there are so many little screws and bolts to tighten. Definitely a job for 2, if possible. The cover zipped on easily and it gives great support for our daughter’s new bed. It feels nice and firm. Glad we took the plunge with this!

Assembly? Friends, our days of sketchy English and diagrams, stripped bolts, crappy little tools, and ill-fitting joints are over. Find yourself. sufficient floor, and go at it. A ll parts and joins are clearly (we're talking bright yellow stickers and clear numbering) marked. Lay out the inner joints. Attach. Outer joints. Attach. Cross bars. Sercure. Cover pad. Done. Then, the true test: will it actually fit my Ikea bedframe? Like a glove. Oh, and then, when I climb that 7" higher on my mattress? Ah, just what I've been waiting for. Yes, 5 starts.

Bought this after moving bed to an older house. The box spring was too big to fit up the stairs. This comes in a fairly small box that will easily go up any flight of stairs. It took about an hour to put together. The instructions were easy to follow. I can’t tell any difference between this product and a regular box spring once installed. Had a good night sleep and it looks good too!

It’s amedium firm mattress. Had to leaveit ~3days to fully inflate. Did not notice any smell after that period and not strong smells during that 3day. Make sure you open asap you get it. They recommend opening it within 72 hours. I opened it after 36 hours but it ended it inflating to almost double xl size which didn’t fit my double size bed. Unforthad to return it for the size issue but the quality is good.

It was somewhat tedious to assemble on my own, but it’s great. My only issue I have is that it slide’s often on my bed frame if pushed. An the box spring cover was suppose to be like the picture where it was full case, an you can zip it up, instead I got some cheap cover that hooks over the other end of the bed frame with some thick elastic straps. So if you were to move the mattress slightly of the box spring it would slide off. I do not think the price is suitable with a crappy box spring cover with no bottom to the cover an just oversized elastic bands to hold it on too the box spring.

Its sturdy ! Totally worth the money. Very easy to assemble . My daughter loves her bed now . I was first hesitant to get this because we were so used to the old fashion box spring. After watching the video I finally convinced myself . And i am very glad I did ! It does the job so Im happy!
