Good quality, good looks, runs small
For the price these are a great purchase. They're a little tight in the toe area, even with my narrow feet - I recommend sizing up 1/2 or a full size. Other than that - I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality. Nice.

NICE BOOT! (but I wish they came in EEE width!)
I'm a US Civil War reenactor - our shoes are called 'brogans'. Several vendors make these ankle boots for us, but NONE offer arch support which I need or I'm lame after a day of walking over 10 miles!I bought 1.5 size bigger - they fit with an extra pair of socks and they have ARCH SUPPORT which I absolutely need. For me - the 'look' of these boots appears exactly like our "brogans" that we're supposed to be wearing after I took a permanent marker and made the 'brown' part all black.I'd imagine they wont last as long as my last pair of brogans that I had made for me from all leather - but hey - for the price and comfort - I'll take them!
