Compatible with the BabyBuddha Pump
So I bought the BabyBuddha and the wearable cups. I absolutely love the pump but HATE the cups. No matter how I tried to poor the milk out it got everywhere. I really tried to like them since they cost so much. I finally gave up and did some research to find another pair compatible with the pump. I bought the Freemie SlimFit5 cups and they are so awesome!!! I wasn’t sure how “discreet” they would be. Most wearable cups say that they are discreet but they aren’t. These absolutely are. Even with our bigger chested girlies. The suction is still just as good and they aren’t loud. Super easy to clean and put back together. I did make sure I boiled it like it says on the instructions. They are on the smaller side but I’m a low supplier so they work for me. Finally I can love my BabyBuddha Pump!

Painful, poor suction
These hands free pump cups are not effective in removing breastmilk. The opening in the flange for your breast is very large and therefore does not create a good seal. The silicone flange inserts are sticky and pull on your skin when pumping. This caused a rash/blister on my delicate skin. Since the cups do not create a seal the suction is very poor. I pumped for 40 minutes and only expressed 1 ounce per breast. Normal output is 2.5-3 ounces per breast over this time frame. I would NOT recommend this product to another purchaser.

Awesome and discreet
These cups work awesome. They only leak if you don’t follow the instructions which you have to boil them for 10 min first. And when putting them on making sure you snap them correctly. I had to buy separate flange inserts as the ones they come with were too big. Just go with the freemie brand as off brands haven’t come out yet for these. The tubing works with my Hygeia pump and spectra pump. This was a game changer and made me be able to be more mobile and not have to worry about bottles and the pumping bra. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for something less of hassle. The cups come in bigger sizes if you produce more milk while pumping but this was perfect for me.

Not great at removing milk
The flanges on these are flat so unless your breasts are flat like pancakes, then they will probably not make a good seal and potentially allow milk to leak out or not be effective in removing milk. I got these because I don’t need huge 8oz collection cups and wanted something more discreet than the usual comically large-profile cups that come with most wearable breast pumps. It suits that purpose but unfortunately they are less effective at milk removal than the more cone or dome shaped flanges. I also want to note because it doesn’t seem to be mentioned anywhere that these cups are also not great for anyone who needs to do a lot of breast compressions to properly empty the breasts during pumping and are better off using traditional pump flanges for that.

Most discreet option for us busty girls
I am a 38j (not a typo), and you could not tell I was wearing these cups. Most of the so called “discreet” cups out there do not look discreet on me. Willow, Elvie, Lengendairy, and Original Freemie cups all looked laughable on me, but the SlimFit 5 was everything I hoped the others would be. Paired with the Freemie Independence II pump, which is one of the quietest pumps on the market, no one will know you are pumping. I pumped in the car with male coworkers on a business trip and no one knew I was doing it. I wore these to a networking event, a wedding, and walking the dog. The only downside is that they will leak if they get too full or you start bending over or moving around a lot. So these will not work in a situation where you have to be really physical. And also I found they would get too full with my first pump of the morning. Otherwise they were perfect.

Comfortable, Discreet- Makes Pumping Easy
I HATED pumping with my first son. This time around, I ordered the Freemie Independence II pump through my insurance company. The standard cups that come with the pump are a little obnoxious looking. I ordered these cups for more of a low-profile fit and LOVE them. These are comfortable, you can’t even really tell you have them on (even under a tighter fitting or low-ish necked shirt) and they work well. I just plugged them right into the pump that I got free with my insurance and now pumping is so much easier.

Works Great But Needs Lube
I purchased these to try with my spectra pump before I buy the freemie pump. I bought the 18mm freemie fitmies and they fit great. I get the same amount of milk that I get with my spectra flanges, no leaking issues and it's not difficult for me to take apart and put back together. I usesd it twice without lube in one day and it was a little painful and I got friction rashes on my areola. No pain or rashes if I use a little bit of coconut oil. It makes my chest look a little funny but I wasn't looking for something super discreet.

Freemie cups - pain in the butt.
These cups along with the cups that come with the freemie, are the most pain in the butt pump cups. I’m constantly having to re-open the cups to take them apart and put back together again to pump correctly even though I put it together correctly to begin with. This happens everytime to every other time I pump and it’s getting really frustrating. I wash my hands before putting them together but by the time I’m in bed and opening them back up to adjust them, it’s not as sanitary. Wish I would have skipped this purchase and gone with non-cup style pump pieces, which I could have gotten 2 sets instead of this expensive single set. Not worth the purchase in my opinion even with them being slim. Shouldn’t have to take them apart a million times just to get them to work.
