Great scraper kit!
This was my first card scraper and this kit (2 cards + burnisher) was perfect. It worked great to level knot holes filled with epoxy in white oak.Card scraping is a little intimidating at first. But just buy this kit, get a file, and watch the Katz-Moses card scraper video on YouTube and you’ll be fine. It’s easier than it seems and works better than other methods.

Very good product.
First time I've used a card scraper. These are solid pieces of steel. They come with all flat edges and 90 degree corners. So all I had to do was burnish an edge and I was ready to go. Very simple to burnish the edge, I just watched a few videos and all turned out well. I used it for maybe an hour and had about 2 cups worth of dust and shavings, works very well. I can see why some people use these instead of sand paper.

Works Predictably and Solid
New to card scrapers myself but i watched a couple online vids on how to burnish and use, and i threw these cards at some scrap, then a real project. Works really well. I don't have much to compare it to in terms of grade, but i really like the card scraper now. It's my go-to for removing material when i want something more aggressive than sandpaper but not as much as my block plane.Happy with the burnisher too - 10 minutes and these cards are ready to scrape.

This scraper set made finishing my oak bench easy
This is the first cabinet scraper I've owned. I had read that scrapers were really useful for putting a smooth finish on figured wood, so I bought this set after I *totally* screwed up the top of the oak bench I was building by using a poorly-adjusted bench plane to try and smooth out uneven boards after a glue-up. The bench plane made a bad situation worse by leaving large sections of tear-out all over, so I had to hit it hard with a belt sander. The sander fixed the tear-out problem, but left large belt marks all over, which I had to fix somehow.Enter the cabinet scraper. After just a few minutes of set up and sharpening, I had a usable tool that took thin shavings off the surface and smoothed out the belt marks. With the proper lighting to see my progress, I could easily take off a little or a lot of wood, and by the time I was done it was nearly finish-ready.This scraper set was easy to use. I recommend Matthew Cremona's YouTube video on how to sharpen a scraper. He shows the how to make it take thick or fine shavings, and what not to do. It only takes a few minutes to sharpen or resharpen, and is far more newbie-friendly than sharpening a bench plane. Bottom line: get this set. It has everything you need to start feeling like a pro woodworker.

Worked as advertised.
The burnisher is very well made and a good value for the money.

Really nice set
Always wanted to try out a card scraper, but didn't really know much about them. This is the first one I've used so I have nothing to compare it to, but, I really like it. Good set and comes with everything a first timer needs.

Nice set
I have other tools made by Crown and have always been happy them. This is no exception. Comfortable handle on the burnisher. The scrapers are thick enough to last a good while and flexible enough to be easy to use.

Scrapers are good, burnisher is a little soft
Scrapers are good, burnisher is a little soft; gets marred by the scraper. I'm not sure how hardened the burnisher is.
