Guns of the Wild West: Firearms of the American Frontier, 1849-1917

A good book that gives you info' on the firearms used in the Wild West. The dates and histories of the guns is well presented with some black and white photos and some Patent line drawings of different firearms. Gives you an insight into the wild west and a brief hstory of the U.S.A.. The book is completed with an appendix devoted to ammunition as well as a full list of American Gun Makers and a comprehensive bibliography.

Great read like it lots

clear read, lots of resources, good research item for writers. old but still valuable book. bw ilustrations, clear mechanical drawings.

A good basic reference to lead to other more in depth specific weapons data. Interestingly filled with historical well researched facts. has nice photos and interesting notes.

Just as advertised, great shape, and on time.
