It works great for trimming fabric after sewing fabric down and before embroidering down with satin stitch.

Great cut at the tip, not so much in the middle.
These work great for close trimming at the top but they separate in the middle and just shred the yarn instead of cleanly cutting it.

Wife wanted longer pair!
I bought these for my wife who does a lot of embroidery and other sewing task. She has many scissors but none that were double curved. When she open them up her comment was, those are short, so I ordered a longer pair from Nancy's Notions! There is nothing wrong with them, there just not right for my wife.

These are perfect for my quilting!
The angle of the scissors' blades is perfect to remove threads after quilting or while sewing the blocks together with 1/4 inch seams. Many straight bladed scissors are hard to make close custs. The blade is angled so you can place the blade flush with the fabric and have room to move!
